I do understand why The Great Incompetent loves the ad.
In the ad there is an elderly person (Acton's birth mother) who is trying to blame and explain away terrible choices (choosing to flee the State with her husband to avoid Grand Jury charges for sexual abuse of her daughter) by claiming someone else is lying. Take no responsibility for your choices, blame someone else, double down on your excuses even in the face of facts.

This "revelation" was quite disappointing. Why did they wait this long to bring this to light? Assuming these interviews were made this year, at least one of the appointments was over 25 years ago, yet, the escort seemed to remember every detail of the appointment. None of them mentioned a description of the driver(s). The only thing that might be of interest is if Lady Graham was being blackmailed over this.

I find stories about Lindsey boring. A powerful man who could have done something brave and helpful, and come out, and chose not to. Do I care about all the ways he tortured himself privately so that he could remain a public coward? Not really.
