First Few Days Recap: 
Day 1: Great Hit and One Miss
--- Checked into my hotel at The Quarter Silom. Went for a walk and after circling the block a bit decided to try out 9-Teen Massage, due to all the twinks outside. Asked for a bottom from the mamasan, and was able to pick from 3 guys. Chose one but ended up finding out that he was actually a Top, after the massage started...so it was a long 60-mins. Total was 1200 with Tip.
---Decided to try the apps instead and found a bottom. He apparently worked at a nearby club/spa, Super Boy. Had a great time and total was 1500. 
 
Day 2: Tried our 15M Massage 
---booked using LINE and was able to pick from multiple in the online catalogue. Overall great experience. Great massage actually and lots of fun afterwards. Total due to promotion 1400 with Tip.

I second Vinapu's recommendations for Chiang Mai.  I truly enjoyed the Adam's Apple go-go bar - especially the Burmese Shan state masculine guys who performed....

Adam's Apple bar and Classic House massage are the must I'd say 

General Santos City or Gensan as it's called is known for its Tuna industry 
Every year they have the Tuna Festival first week of September 
I went mostly because I was visiting a ex boyfriend who had been to Australia and his wonderful family.
I didn't see any crime or danger whatsoever, probably far safer there than walking in some Western cities during the day 
I got accosted 4 times yesterday in Sydney city  for money with some aggressive beggars abusing me for ignoring them, 
and during my week in Gensan not one person asked for money !  
I stayed at first in a expensive hotel ,forget the name...but it was a generic type place , beautiful lobby , staff calling you Sir etc ....but very "clinical" 
 
then being a cheap charlieband wanting to meet "normal" people I decided to move to the Red Doorz about 1000 pesos a night (650 baht where the young Filipino hosts were great and met wonderful travellers from Sweden etc
It was clean and had a great security guard who sat out the front,a wonderful cafe where at 9pm they cooked me a delicious Filipino pisig pork meal 
The chef was a young brown skinned 24yo who asked 'you want me to bring it to your room?
Lots and lots of guys on Grindr 😁and that's what I love about new places 
I'm getting older now maybe another 15-20 years left of life if I'm lucky ,I would rather see new places and experience more.
A guy at my work died last week 52yo fit as a fiddle died in his sleep brain clot or stroke  ,such a shock to everyone that he had passed , apparently his partner found him unresponsive

I say do as much as you can , experience new places ,new people,new things
Many won't leave the "comfort zone" of Thailand because it's "easy" and they know that place
It's such a hard change to try another place especially somewhere like the Philippines 
But who knows how long we have , I won't be here in 30 years put it that way.

The shop 15M had quoted pricing for Tip set at 1000 for 1hr, 1300 for 1.5hr, and 1500 for 2hrs. So I just went by the guide, and the boy seemed content with the tip amount. The difference was when I asked how much he would want for a hotel visit, and he quoted 2000 but also let me know if he visited the hotel it would mean he could stay longer and not be held to only 1hr limit. 

higher tip for room visit makes sense due to additional  travel expense as well lost business opportunities. In the shop he may get next client right away which is not just theory, once at Senso I grabbed boy who just went down with his client, at Arena it was my boy who was snatched by client when I was paying my fees

also note that if the guy is not freelance - then often he needs to pay an off fee to the massage shop if he goes off-site for a home delivery take out service.

is not that bad, I usually go for 1.50 , tip 1500, sometimes 200-300 more if I'm happy and it goes well. Usually it goes - I make some "accidental ' move , guy asks if I want more, when confirm he asks how much I  give him and I stick to my price, rarely we disagree.
While in bars I usually ask them how much they want, in massages I steer to other way around.
Even somewhat upscale Senso quotes  minimum tip 1500 for  1.5 hr on their  promotion sheet

@abidismaili, it depends on which part of Bangkok. @JZenLyfe referred to 15M massage which is in Saphan Khwai area. Loads of twinks in that area quote 1000 baht for 1 hour. In the Silom area, that won't be the going rate.

I like 15M, the guys are exactly the type I am into, almost all of them. Should go there more often.
