1) unpaid is unrealistic in DR compared to Colombia imho. I didn’t try Tinder, but if you are picking up guys in Grindr, be very careful!!! I would meet them at a restaurant near by and feel out the vibe! I would also set the payment expectations in writing and screenshot it to be safe. I would honestly try to get someone consistent so you can build something and pay less overtime as well. When I go back, I would 1-2 boyfriends. 2)local food in Zona Colonia is cheap and tasty so eat there. 3)No idea, but ask Manny. Maybe north side where the resorts are near. 4)if you have the money, they will come! But feel them out and make them send you a picture of their license/ID and take a picture so you have a record. 5)WiFi in my air bnb was fine. Spotty in the back of the house, but honestly, I purchased an eSIM (14 pro max) 10g of data for $25-30 and used that when out and about. You can try to get a monthly plan with Claro or a local sim for long term service, but idk how that works. Should be easy. Don’t know how much Spanish you speak so that can help
