  1. No, just my mistake to accidentally publish when I was still writing. Fixed that now 😇
  2. Hey everyone, this is the continuation of my Dubai trip report. I arrived at BKK in the morning of February 27. Luckily, I had an entire row to myself and could sleep quite well during the roughly 6h flight from Kuwait. Before immigration I got a SIM card from AIS and then waited for quite a long time in line until I was finally clear to enter Thailand. All my flight’s luggage had already been cleared and I couldn't find my checked bag at first. Eventually, I was guided to an unclaimed baggage counter and luckily, my bag was there. I did a bit of research beforehand and found the bus connection to Jomtien to be quite convenient so that was my plan. I went to the ticket counter and bought a ticket for the next available bus which was only around one hour later. In the meantime I just listened to a podcast and watched the people around me. About 15min before departure I was supposed to be at the ticket counter again and they directed all the passengers to the bus. My bag was loaded into the bus and I took my assigned seat. The seat next to me remained vacant and I didn't mind the extra space at all. The bus took off and after an uneventful ride we reached Pattaya. There were like two stops in Pattaya before the final destination Jomtien. The bus was perfectly on time, I grabbed my luggage and started the short walk towards my Airbnb in one of the Talay buildings. Check-in was a breeze and I was happy to unpack my stuff and take a refreshing shower. I already had some plans for the evening: when I was initially planning my trip, I asked for advice here in the forum and got in touch with the fellow forum member @bkkmfj2648 who gave me great advice and also offered to show me around the area. When I arrived at my condo, I texted him and he suggested we meet up for dinner. We met at the entrance of my building and went to Dick's for dinner. Right from the start we got along very well and that positive impression just manifested the more we talked. He showed me around Super Town and introduced me to the M Bar where we went first for a show and some drinks. For my personal liking, M Bar felt too “soft”. The guys were handsome but more on the super twink side. Although I'm totally not opposed to twinks, I do like it a little more masculine. We went to Candy Bar next and I could identify a bit more with the vibe there. Overall it was a good introduction to the Jomtien. When I got back to my condo, I gave myself a little treat as well. After my arrival in Jomtien I checked out Grindr of course and got in touch with a few handsome guys. One who I really liked was still available and was eager to come by. Perfect ending for a first day. To be continued…
  3. I have not (yet) flown Ethiopian but also can't remember to have ever seen them offered when searching for flights. I always look for economy tickets though, so maybe their economy fares aren't as competitive as their business fares. There's no airline I wouldn't try at least once, so I'm open to any good deal.
  4. Hi everyone! Two weeks ago I got back home from a very nice trip to Dubai (before the war started) and Thailand and I want to share my experiences with you. I will write a separate trip report for my time in Thailand. This one only covers the 5 days I spent in Dubai. It was my first time in Dubai and it had never been too interesting to me to actually visit, but for this trip I just wanted to explore a new destination for a few days and Dubai seemed to be the right choice. I arrived on a Sunday morning and took the metro to my hotel. I specifically picked a hotel close to a metro station as that usually gives you quite some budget friendly and quick transportation options without having to use taxis/grab/bolt/etc. all the time. I did a bit of sightseeing and of course also had a look at Grindr and Romeo. Using a VPN, it was no problem to access the apps. I was surprised about the amount of guys using face pics. There were lots of Filipino and Indian guys, a few Arabs, and a few Africans. I had not specifically planned to hook up in Dubai but one guy from Senegal had gotten my attention, and I couldn't say no to that African twinkish jock, who was in his mid twenties. We chatted for a bit and I asked to meet him the next evening. I was really nervous how things are at hotels in Dubai. The elevator/stairs of my hotel were opposite of the reception and there was always a security guy present. Mister Senegal asked for my room number and name, in case he needs to register, but I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to share that so I didn't and suggested to meet in front of the hotel. About 20min before our date I went outside of the hotel for a cigarette and waited next to a couple of other guys just sitting and smoking. He arrived on time and looked very handsome. We chatted a little and I used my very rusty French (language) skills. The profile pics definitely didn't lie and he was indeed a French speaker so Senegal could definitely be his country of origin. I felt a little anxious when we walked towards the hotel entrance, just totally unaware if anyone would stop or question us. No one did, we quickly got in the elevator and went to my room. He wasn't particularly shy and we had a pleasant time together. He certainly tasted good 😋. I didn't have much local currency on me, so I had offered him 50 Euros when we were chatting before, which he was happy about. He told me it was only his second month in Dubai and that he was looking for a job in a hotel. Once we were finished he left and I was very satisfied. I arranged a second date with him for my last night in Dubai. Same procedure with meeting in front of the hotel. This time I wasn't that anxious, considering how easy it was the first time. This time, the security guy interfered though, when we wanted to get into the elevator and asked if he was registered as a visitor. Pure awkwardness on my side in that moment but Mr. Senegal didn't seem to bother and just quickly showed his ID at the reception who typed in something on her computer and in about 1 minute we were good to go. It was pretty obvious what was happening, but the hotel staff stayed discreet and I might have even noticed a little smile from the muscular Arab security guy. I wouldn't have said no to him either... I still had a bit of a bad feeling if the visitor registration would cause any issues when checking out from the hotel. Anyway, we went up to my room and I enjoyed the time together with Mister Senegal once more. It was equally fun as the first time and once we were done and he had left, I started to prepare my luggage for the departure the next day. At checkout, there was no mentioning of my visitor or any extra charge, so I was relieved and glad that I took the opportunity to add Senegal on my list of nationalities I had sex with. My flight left Dubai on February 26 around 6pm towards Kuwait, where I had a connection to Bangkok. Considering the tension between the US, Israel and Iran the weeks prior, I was glad that my stay in Dubai was unaffected. Only short after my arrival in Thailand did I realize how lucky I actually was to still get out of the Gulf region just in time, when I read about the start of the war the next day. My next trip report will come soon and focus on the fabulous time I had in Jomtien and Bangkok. Cheers, Tom
  5. As I'm an avgeek (aviation geek, someone who is planes, airports, and everything around it) I tend to choose an unusual route/airline/aircraft type that I haven't flown before. Usually I'm not picking the most convenient, but the most fun route, at least according to my standards. Over the past years, I particularly liked flying with Saudia as they offer a really good product for a decent price, transiting at both Riyadh and Jeddah is convenient, and they did have some nice beefy flight attendants 😋. Kuwait Airways was also a good choice for getting from Europe to Asia, and within Asia I like Vietnam Airlines a lot. On transatlantic routes I don't have a clear favorite. Price is always a factor too unfortunately, but as I hardly ever take nonstop flights and I'm very open to try out all kinds of connections, I usually find something suitable within my budget.
  6. Thank you for sharing your experiences. The bodybuilder's ass looks very tasty 😋. Did they approach you for the contact or did you approach them?
  7. This makes me eager to visit Santo Domingo
  8. Thank you very much for your feedback! That helps me to make a decision and I'm looking forward to the time in Jomtien ❤️
  9. Hello everyone, I'm glad to have found this awesome forum of like-minded fellow gays and after spending a few hours reading through posts, I decided it's best to just sign up. I'm Tom from Germany, by the way, and I love traveling. Currently I'm planning a trip to Thailand in February/March 2026 and would like to include Pattaya in my plans. I'm thinking about a stay of about 7 nights and from what I've read, Jomtien sounds the best. I'm unsure about the accommodation options though, and ask for your advice. I definitely want to have some sexy guests over, so it is an important criteria that this is easily possible. Usually I prefer apartments over hotels for the increased privacy, and no scolding reception looks. I've found a good Airbnb at the Talay 7 Condominium, but then I learned of the TM30 regulations and that makes me question this option. Another option could be the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel & Resort but I'm always a bit fearful of the reception being a hurdle to any hookups in my room. I like the proximity to the beach that both options offer, so that is also a factor. I do like a central location, but don't exactly want to stay right next to a loud bar, as I value my sleep too. What are thoughts and recommendations? Cheers, Tom
