So second night report. Decided I would check out all the Patpong bars. Started off with Moonlight. Was surprised that for a 500Bht entry fee I got two drink vouchers. Checked out the guys - 2 or 3 good looking young hunks but the rest were ordinary. Decided I would come back for the midnight show to use my second drink voucher. Went to Good Boys - layout hasn't changed since it was Screw Boy. Boys were ordinary so had one drink and left. Then up to Hot Male which was interesting. Only six guys on stage, three of which were obviously keen to be offed. Also one waif-twink who looked embarrassed to be on the stage. Had a drink and kept going. I didn't go to Fresh Boys because I had been there the night before and not particularly impressed with the boys so went to Dream Boy. OMG I have never seen so many obviously-padded crotches in my life. No one there that really caught my eye and the sound was deafening so I left. Decided to go back to Hot Male because I was intrigued by waif-boy and thought I might as well see the 10pm show. He still looked unhappy so I took pity on him and got him a drink. And when he sat down with me he completely came to life, clinging to me with lots of kissing and groping. So decided I would off him after the show. The show itself was interesting. Only four guys on stage and it was all big cock scenes - no cabaret, lip synching and writhing under UV lights. Have to say I was impressed both with content and talent. Then I took waif-boy back to the hotel. He was OK but clearly gay-for-pay but I got my money's worth. Turned out he was 23yo who looked much younger from Myanmar. At 11.30 I went back to Moonlight to wait for the midnight show. Hardly anyone there... just me and four very drunk, young girls who were spending a fortune on drinks and paying almost no attention to the stage. As for the show.... was a complete waste of time. A couple of lip-synch numbers, then guys parading not-hard in semi transparent jocks and then this guy in street clothes came on and launched into a whole lot of horrible karaoke numbers. I left after 45 minutes in disgust. Was getting tired so I thought I would finally check out Nature Boy. When I got there there was a group of people in there all fully clothed sitting round a table at the end. Have no idea what they were doing so I baled. On the way back I thought I would stop in at Super A again and was surprised - more guys there than last night and all hotties (including DK). Was the best quality I had seen all night but by now I was too tired to enjoy an off so when back to the hotel. Overall I was surprised by two things. The first that was that only the boys at Hot Male and Super A showed any real interest in me. Most wouldn't make eye contact. Now I might be a 60-ish farang but I'm not bad looking and I am obviously a customer. The second was that without exception I was completely left alone by the mamasans. The only one who connected was the one at Super A and she was helpful rather than pushy. Both very different from my experience in the past but admittedly that was a long time ago... maybe I'm past my use-by date. Anyway, I had fun. Hopefully won't be too log before I am back.

So having started this thread am now reporting in. Finally arrived in BKK last night but only for a two day visit. Bad timing! Yesterday was Buddha Birthday.... Moonlight, Good Boy, Hot Male, Dream Boy all closed. Fresh Boys was open but no alcohol. Show was so-so, none of the boys were particularly interesting and drinking Diet Coke is not my idea of a good night so I watched the show and left. Then I discovered Super A was open and was seemingly overlooking the no-booze rule, at least for this tourist (it was early and I was the only one there). Only three boys on offer but one of them (DK I think he said his name was) was an absolute stunner - young, built, good looking and hung, so we had fun. Started as a massage but quickly evolved into something much more interesting. And yes, there are rooms upstairs which are not expensive. So it turned out to be a great night after all. I'll have a look at Nature Boy tonight for old times' sake but don't hold out much hope given other reviews.
