    First post here, although I've been lurking on the forum for quite a while. 😄 Great post about hotel options! Very useful comparison. One additional point worth mentioning: for some of the more expensive hotels, it can be worth checking rates through luxury hotel programs. For example, the Le Méridien can be booked for around US$159/night for Christmas week through Marriott Luminous, including breakfast. The Dusit Thani is also available at around US$544/night, including breakfast and US$100 hotel credit per stay.
