Trip report - Chiang Mai - 29 Dec - in progress
TotallyOz replied to bkkmfj2648's topic in Gay Thailand
Wow. You covered so much in the Chiang Mai area. Fantastic story and photos. I love the White Temple. You are very adventurous and your posts do tell me you are willing to go off the regular path that everyone attempts in LOS. Lovely and amazing reports! -
I have been traveling a great deal in the USA and just got a chance to read this thread fully from top to bottom and it is fabulous! The details and the photos are fabulous. I enjoyed each and every one of your posts and the report really did bring me back to LOS with you! Thank you.

A federal judge in Oklahoma ruled Tuesday that the state’s constitutional amendment barring same sex marriages violated the federal Constitution, the latest in a string of legal victories for gay rights and one that occurred in the heart of the Bible Belt. The state’s ban on marriage by gay and lesbian couples is “an arbitrary, irrational exclusion of just one class of Oklahoma citizens from a governmental benefit,” wrote Judge Terence C. Kern of United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma, in Tulsa, deciding a case that had languished for nine years. The amendment, he said, is based on “moral disapproval” and does not advance the state’s asserted interests in promoting heterosexual marriage or the welfare of children. http://www.hrc.org/blog/entry/u.s.-district-judge-rules-oklahoma-ban-on-marriage-equality-unconstitutiona http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/15/us/federal-judge-rejects-oklahomas-gay-marriage-ban.html?hp&_r=0

If anyone else is having problems with EZTV - you can just go to their twitter and download the stuff and avoid the DDOS on their site.

If you have never tried Hua Hin, it is beautiful and fun. It is more laid back and not a big gay scene but it is enjoyable and relaxing.

6 Days in Thailand and Low Budget: What to do and where to go?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I would say in Bangkok, the must sees are the Kings Palace, the Floating Market, Wat Arun, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza, and JJ Market. If in Pattaya, maybe a boat ride out to the islands, a trip to the tiger farm and the wooden temple. Would others have must sees for the above? And, would you venture so far as Chiang Mai on a short trip? Or, maybe just head to Hua Hin or some of the beaches closer to Bangkok? -
I have some friends that have to go to a conference in Bangkok. They will stay for a night or two at the Holiday Inn on Silom. They will then spend 6 more days in the LOS. They are not gay. They are on a tight budget but want to see as much of the country as possible. They love riding motorcycles. They don't mind adventures like trains or buses but don't want to waste much time. If you have 6 days to see Thailand with a limited budget and it will be your one and only trip there, what would you do? Where would you go? How would you get there?

It has been down several days for me. Are there other good sites that has American TV shows easy to find?

Hero Massage - What happens if you cum before time is up?

Lek is one of my favorites. 1 hour is usually enough for me. They won't run you out until you are ready. Just tell them what you want them to do and they will do it. It is a good place and I have only had one or two bad experiences there in 100's of times. -

One thing we seem to try to be as a community is inclusive (at least in some ways) and the struggles for transgendered rights are important for all of us. The extra T does not bother me at all. -
Amazing writer and I love reading her works.

Thais are stupid? LOL Americans elected George Bush to two terms (even though not really the first term as it was given to him and the very "intelligent" people in the USA voted him back in).

Will Health Care Act Require Expats to Have Insurance?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I didn't get the GeoBlue plan as I was turned down based on weight. I tried again yesterday and it was approved. Guess how much? 1300 a month. Insane. It does nothing more than my Blue Cross policy in USA that costs 430 a month except that it covers me more overseas. Geoblue also has a policy that covers you for a reasonable amount IF and ONLY If you maintain credible US coverage. LOL It is a real PITA for insurance for expats. -
We are in a pickle. We can't keep everyone logged in and out. I think to solve the issue yesterday, we changed it to when you close your browser or are gone for 12 hours it automatically logs you out. We will remove the Keep Me Logged In as it does not work and won't work right anyway. So sorry for all the inconvenience.

Will Health Care Act Require Expats to Have Insurance?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Thanks for the advice. I have a good US Policy. It is now really easy under the ACA. But, it seems that many Blue Cross / Blue Shield policies are limiting overseas claims to those that are life threatening. That is worrisome. You use to be able to go into any BCBS hospital and get reimbursed. That is no longer the case. I called Blue Cross of California yesterday and they said only life threatening emergencies are covered. Who defines it as life threatening? -
The programmers have been working on this. Can you all please test this after you log out and close your browser and see if you are still having issues? So sorry and thanks.

Will Health Care Act Require Expats to Have Insurance?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Looks like it doesn't do that. And, many policies from several states that I have reviewed do not even offer out of US coverage through Blue Cross / Blue Shield. I know the ACA is a great thing with preexisting conditions but it is also limiting many things that were once covered. -

I would suggest clearing your cache and your cookies for the site and testing it again. I use Invision on many sites and have not see this with the newest version of browsers. Is 11 the latest edition? -
LOL Me too. For porn actors though, I think we need to pick the good ones as there are so many bad ones.

I think when someone gets paid millions of dollars for a movie for good acting and they don't deliver, they are fair game. I also think if I pay 10 bucks for a ticket and another 10 bucks or more for soda and popcorn that I have a right to talk about what I spent my money on. I love Leo and think he is great. The Wolf was not good for me but others say it is fabulous. For me, Nicolas Cage is at the top of my bad acting list. For women, I have not yet decided.
