After the Intercontinental was sold a few years back, I thought for sure that IHG would acquire another property or two but they have not. Rio is still lacking any IHG hotel. I find this odd for a major international city. Has anyone heard of them building one there?

I'd love to see it as well. But, when I was growing up in the south, these guys of guys were all I saw in magazines. It made me personally feel like I could not be gay as I was nothing like that. I guess I didn't have a good sense of what gay was and how inclusive it was but I knew I wasn't the typical Tom of Finland type of guy.

I have attended this event in the past and had a great time. The hosts of the events are fun, accommodating and enjoyable to chat and talk to. There are some that go that are very protective of their "dates" and there are others that go that want their "dates" to get more business. For me, I went dateless and there were many like me that just went for the conversation of like minded individuals. And, hey I met AJ Irons there and think he is one of the hottest guys on earth. And, I assume that our friend Lucky will be there this year as well and while I think he did start the events, he has now turned them over to others and Lucky is one of the most fascinating men you can ever meet to chat with and talk to in person. When you get to meet so many truly good men to chat with and learn from, the events turn out to be really enjoyable. I find these events fun and if you are in the area and are invited, I suggest you attend one. As for me, I love escorts, hookers, clients and conversation related to all of them. I am curious if truthteller2 is the same as truthteller from the old days? Inquiring minds want to know.

I do love Jessica Lange but Angela Basset and Kathy Bates are two of my favorite people and they showed up on this show and it is the first season I have been able to watch as I normally piss in my pants at horror flicks. (except Vampires and Werewolves)

He is a great example of what peaceful protests can accomplish. Non violent resolution of issues seem to be a thing of the past. it is s shame as both King and Gandhi got great things accomplished with peaceful means. I do not think porn production should be restricted any more than nude dancing, escorts, etc. What 2 consenting adults decide to do is their own business. If they wish to tape it and someone wants to buy it, great. There will be more laws like the one in LA. And, then they will clamp down on things you enjoy. Great report. I have not spent a great deal of time on Koh Samui but now I want to go back and spend more time there. Yes, this was very expected and talked a great deal about last year. Several companies move production to EU and South America. Here is what they decided: Three main places: Bangkok/ Hua Hin, Phuket We will spend first two days in Bangkok. We will see all main places. We will travel to Hua hin by best possible way train or bus or taxi whatsoever. We will spend couple of days in Hua hin to cover all nice places around Hua hin. Then we will travel to Phuket. Here we will also cover phi phi island and rest all nearby places. Anyone have any more suggestions related to the above? I'd just say that perhaps a bike ride around Hua Hin would be great!

Wait. Are you telling me this is not the case? I was told on my last trip how much they loved my belly and my balding head. Not once did they mention my wallet. Not once I tell you! I also spoke to him last night and while we did talk about his new motorbike and the new water buffalo, he never mentioned anything else about money. If you have never tried Hua Hin, it is beautiful and fun. It is more laid back and not a big gay scene but it is enjoyable and relaxing.

I would say in Bangkok, the must sees are the Kings Palace, the Floating Market, Wat Arun, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza, and JJ Market. If in Pattaya, maybe a boat ride out to the islands, a trip to the tiger farm and the wooden temple. Would others have must sees for the above? And, would you venture so far as Chiang Mai on a short trip? Or, maybe just head to Hua Hin or some of the beaches closer to Bangkok?

I have some friends that have to go to a conference in Bangkok. They will stay for a night or two at the Holiday Inn on Silom. They will then spend 6 more days in the LOS. They are not gay. They are on a tight budget but want to see as much of the country as possible. They love riding motorcycles. They don't mind adventures like trains or buses but don't want to waste much time. If you have 6 days to see Thailand with a limited budget and it will be your one and only trip there, what would you do? Where would you go? How would you get there?

It has been down several days for me. Are there other good sites that has American TV shows easy to find?
