  1. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Businesses & Organizations ze World | Kurfürstenstraße 79 | no number | http://www.maze-world.eu/ While this is technically a sex shop, it's much better known as a cruising and dark room labyrinth – its name gives it away. There is some fetish and S&M action here, so choose your partners accordingly.
  2. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Businesses & Organizations The JAXX | Motzstraße 19 | 30/213 8103 | http://www.thejaxx.de/ If you love a good gay porn movie house, then you've found your Mecca. Tons of cruising areas, tons of movies showing, tons of action around every bend. And it's smack in the middle of gay street in the gayborhood.
  3. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Businesses & Organizations Duplexx | Martin-Luther-Straße 14 | 30/236 31884 | http://www.duplexx.eu/Berlin-Schoeneberg/club.html This is a combination sex-shop and porn cinema house that has the added bonus of a whopping 25 private cabins. Come for the lube/condom necessities; stay for the porn and blowjobs!
  4. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants November | Husemannstraße 15 | 030 44 28 42 5 | http://www.cafe-november.de/November_Cafe_und_Restaurant.html November has those wonderfully crazy German cold meat breakfasts as well as egg dishes; for the rest of the day, their menu is light and fresh, with seasonal specials that are definitely worth tucking into – even their schnitzel won't leave you wanting a nap.
  5. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Melitta Sundström | Mehringdamm 61 | 030 69 244 14 | http://www.melitta-sundstroem.de/ This is more of a daytime, Euro-style bar than a restaurant, but they have great snacks and their enormous terrace is so wonderful in the summer that even though you may just go in for a beer, the food will keep you there for a while. At night they're big on live music so it can lean more heavuly towards the bar end of the spectrum.
  6. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants More | Motzstraße 28 | 030 - 23 63 57 02 | http://www.more-berlin.de/de/ Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and boasting a large menu, don't be surprised if you find yourself eating here more than once – especially with its uber-convenient location on the super-gay Motzstraße. Traditional dishes and some interesting things create a good mix – and their lime sorbet is the perfect palate cleanser for whatever you've been putting your mouth.
  7. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Rastsatte Gnadenbrot | Martin Luther Straße 20A | (0)30 2196 1786 | http://www.raststaette-gnadenbrot.de/ This gay-owned joint has cheap, delicious German food that's as close as you'll get to home cooking. And it's cute and quirky inside, with a casual vibe that will have you coming back again – maybe for brunch, which is a winner.
  8. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants La Cocotte | Vorbergstraße 10 | (0)30 7895 7658 | http://www.lacocotte.de/index2.html This is a French restaurant, but it being in Berlin, it can run a little heavy/rich, so if you're watching your waistline, this may have to be a rare splurge. Otherwise, their egg dishes are insanely addictive and the restaurant in general is a real gem.
  9. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Schall und Rauch | Gleimstraße 23 | (0)30 443 3970 | http://schall-und-rauch.de/ Mentioned in accommodations as well, and with their wonderful, varied menu, Schall und Rauch has it all. Vegetarian dishes as well, which every visitor to Berlin needs as a certain point. And it's gay owned and run, so you can always expect a friendly welcome.
  10. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Arman | Mehringdamm 45 | (0)30 6120 2919 | http://www.arman-restaurant.de/ Yes, a gay Indian restaurant – there is literally nothing Berlin doesn't have, is there? It's great anytime of the week, but the Sunday brunch is a real draw. Their lamb curry is reason alone to go here.
  11. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Le Moustache | Gartenstraße 4 | (0) 30 281 7277 | http://www.lemoustache.de/ This is a gay bar and restaurant combined, and looks about as traditional as it gets – except for the older gays, lesbians and various grand dames that are all clearly Friends of Dorothy. So it's not scene-y at all, but is friendly and a good spot to grab some down-home German grub.
  12. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Café Berio | Maaßenstraße 7 | 30/216 1946 | http://cafeberio.de/ While this restaurant has a mixed homo/hetero clientele, it definitely skews gay and is generally known as a gay café. There is plenty of people-watching to be done, particularly in the warmer months when the outdoor area becomes quite the scene. The food's decent, if from a limited menu.
  13. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Restaurants Neues Ufer | Hauptstraße 157 | 30 78957900 | http://www.yelp.com/biz/neues-ufer-berlin Not a place for a filling, hearty meal, but they have a light menu and delicious snacks as well as great coffee. While it's not scene-y, everyone definitely gives everyone else the once-over here.
  14. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Saunas Boiler Sauna Berlin | Mehringdamm 34 | 030 5770 7175 0 | http://www.boiler-berlin.de/ Boiler has two basic looks – that of a high-end urban gym, whereas in the cruising areas it has that industrial, man-fuck-here vibe that is so common in Berlin. But neither of those are a negative – this place is great, and will easily be your best chance to get some sauna action.
  15. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Saunas Gate Sauna Berlin | Wilhelmstraße 81 | 030-229 94 30 | http://www.gate-sauna.de./english/index.html The steam room and the orgy bed are where the action happens here; there are private cabins in a wide variety of configurations as well as a dark room and a porn room. It skews a bit older and has a healthy bear contingent, so if you're looking for young'uns this may not be your place.
  16. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Saunas Apollo Splash Club | Kurfürstenstraße 101 | 030-2132424 | http://www.apollo-splash-club.com/home2_de.html Hands-down the best private cabins in town, and their newly renovated digs have made a big difference here – it's really nice! There are sex shows, stripper shows, and actual sauna/spa facilites as well, including massage. Seriously hot German dudes abound.
  17. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Saunas Treibhaussauna Berlin | Schönhauser Allee 132 | 030 / 448 45 03 | http://www.treibhaussauna.de/ Sometimes it seems like Treibhaus is not sure whether it wants to be a legit sauna or a cruising joint, but it's still popular despite that – and despite the fact that cabins are not inclued in the entrance fee. The steam room is where you'll see the most hookup action, although the rest of the place is up for grabby-grabs as well.
  18. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs Chantal House of Shame | Schönhauser Allee 176a | http://www.bassy-club.de/ This is a Thursday night party at Bassy Club; the other nights, this is a performance space and later at night a club, that's hetero. But with a name like Chantal House of Shame, you can rest assured that you're in for a gay old time.
  19. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs SO36 | Oranienstraße 190 | no number | http://so36.de/ This is not a place so much as a party, held on Mondays – currently hosted at Electric Xchange, but check website for details on the location and times. This is a straight-up LGBT dance party that makes it feel like Pride on a weekly basis. Tons of fun if you're just looking to get your dance on.
  20. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs COCKS Berlin | Greifenhagener Straße 33 | 030 229 416510 | http://www.cocksberlin.de/index1.html Super-cruise-y sex club COCKS is well named, as it is the only thing on the minds of its patrons – and, on naked and pissing nights, is mostly what you'll be seeing, even on the bartenders. It's kind of sleazy but in a good way, if that makes sense – and the action is impressive.
  21. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs Triebwerk | Urbanstraße 64 | 30/695 05203 | http://www.triebwerkberlin.com/en/ Possibly the least-high-end sex club in Berlin, which is saying something – it's naked every night except for Sundays, so check it out then when it's underwear only; the rest of the week only hardcore lovers of naked nights put up with the grime. Cabins and sex slings are at your disposal, and their coat check handles all your clothing as well.
  22. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs CDL Club | Hohenstaufenstraße 58 | 030 32 66 78 55 | http://www.cdl-club.de/ This sex club has theme nights on Thursdays that require masks, so if you get antsy about that, best to skip to antoher night. Otherwise its mostly underwear and/or naked, and it all about getting your fuck on.
  23. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs Scheune | Motzstraße 25 | 30/213 8580 | http://www.scheune-berlin.de/ The basement is where all the action is at here and what pushes this into the sex club category, while upstairs is your average gay bar – except one that takes its theme nights seriously, so don't be surprised if you see a bunch of dudes wearing crazy-ass leather, rubber, skinhead or uniform gear sipping pints and chatting. Skews a bit older and bordering on bear-like, but all ages and sizes stop in. Sunday is naked.
  24. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs SchwuZ | Mehringdamm 61 | 30 6290880 | http://www.schwuz.de/ Another fun club that skews young (although all ages show up at one point or another), with seriously fun theme nights centered on music themes rather than sex themes. They also have some drag shows, and at times can seem more like a bar than a club, which makes it a good fit for many. A lot of fun, and friendly to boot.
  25. Gay and Gay Friendly Berlin Clubs Die Busche | Warschauer Platz 18 | Die Busche | http://www.diebusche.de/ A mixed LGBT club with some fag hags thrown in for good measure, this place is fun and skews super young, so hit the dance floor if you want to grind up on some pretty young things. Lots of laughing and silliness among the patrons and great DJ sets as well. Oh, and a coat check – a God-send in the harsh winter.
