  1. I love Thailand. I love Gay Thailand. I love Pattaya. I also love photography. The boys and I are going to try our best to add one photo every day to this thread for the next 30 days. It will be a photo that we have taken randomly in or around Pattaya, Thailand. Some of the photos will be just a bit of fun and some will be serious. Or, so we hope as we will choose these together each night for that day's photo. I hope you enjoy seeing Pattaya through the lens of our camera! Photo 1: Pattaya at night
  2. Sure, happy to oblige. "May be your right go and try then we are looking forward to your full report." Means: It may possibly be you are right in your assumptions that the big sausages they serve are tasty and yummy. However, in order for the other members of this esteemed website to be sure, I suggest you go there and give us a full graded report. It would be most kind for you to notate the sausage size and how juicy they were and attach some photos. Your most humble admirer, HG
  3. It is very interesting to me. I have noticed a great deal more Russians on this visit than in the past. I have also seen many signs now in Russian. What I am curious about is the pay up front thing. I have never seen this in Thailand. Is this common in other areas? Have others noticed this here in gay bars, lady bars or ladyboy bars? Is this just a Walking Street thing that one bar did and now others are catching on?
  4. We have a much more detail search feature in this new site than the other one. The features allow you to search by area and also by preference and by reviewer. It is a great new way to find guys you are looking for. Now, I need a suggestion. We have inported all the older profiles over to this site. I need to make rules for showing up in searches for both Escorts and Reviews. After how long with an escort not logging into the site should be inactive his profile? What about Reviews? Do you feel keeping them for long periods of time is important or does showing the details in when they were last reviewed sufficient. We would like to clean up the database and get rid of all escorts who are inactive on the site. Most of my sites will inactivate someone who has not logged in anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. What is your suggestion to appear in searches?
  5. Welcome to the new site. There may be a few road bumps along the road and if you see some, please send me a message or use the Contact Us or let us know in the Comments and Suggestions Forum and we will have the programmers fix ASAP. Thank you for being a member of the site! Totally Oz
  6. We ordered Sunrise Taco's from them last night and it was great. Good food and good prices. There was no delivery fee or service charge. (even though when you order online, they place the charge, it is then taken away when they call to confirm the order) I always enjoyed Sunrise Tacos in Bangkok and glad I found a way to get them in Pattaya without leaving my condo.
  7. I went to a meeting there many years ago but I think it was at the Marriott Hotel back then. I am planning on going to the next meeting in Pattaya. But, I know little about the group. Can someone tell me the benefit of joining, participating? When is the next meeting? What happens at these meetings?
  8. LOL All I can say is Thai boys love Buddha. Thank goodness. You know I treat my guys with respect and I think everyone should do the same. Yes, I do spoil them and make sure they have a great life. I think anyone that is valuable to someone should be treated like a gem. Often times guys seem to think a boy that is with a Farang is more attractive. But, at the same time, if a boy is a stunner, he is a stunner. To solve this problem, just date less attractive guys.
  9. So far all behind the scenes right now. We should not be down for more than a few hours but I always like to say 24 hours just in case something happens. You never know when dealing with code. I have a great team of 14 programmers that have been amazing to work with and I think we have covered most bases but there are always issues when code is tweaked and changed.
  10. It is now midnight where I am and it was a very long and productive day. I am very excited about the changes that are happening. Hopefully, the site will be completely ready in less than 24 hours.
  11. I have enjoyed Waiter on Wheels as a friend told me about the company and they deliver Subway Sandwiches. I love Subway. But, for the life of me, I can't figure how when I tell them I want Lettuce and Mayo only and I even write it on the website and confirm with the phone operator, that they keep delivering my sandwich with EVERYTHING on it even Jalapenos Peppers! For goodness sake, please someone, tell me the secret to ordering from them!
  12. KhorTose, do you mean those people that are descendants of the Jewish tribes? (According to Romeny) If you are talking about American Indians, I like that food. When I was in NYC, all my friends thought I was Puerto Rican! They said, "you are what you eat." I love frybread, cornbread, and most things from the South. I have been promising a few friends I'd cook them some Beans and Greens and Cornbread but I have not had time.
  13. I did speak to my insurance company in the USA and they said the covered me out of the country no matter how long I stay. However, if push comes to shove, I doubt they would honor that so I'd like a good plan just in case.
  14. I think it is just the culture of this city and who is doing it. It is just about always ladyboys. Day in and day out, they try this. Perhaps, because they are flamboyant, they can get away with it more. That does not mean I think guys or girls are any better or worst, they just do different crimes. Have you heard of 2 ladies on a Motorbike driving by a baht bus and grabbing the necklace off of an unsuspected tourist? I don't hear that too often. I think that the local mafia give classes in crime and they require all ladyboys to attend. At least that is my theory.
  15. I have really never understood the rotation in Pattaya either and I don't like it. But, I think it has to do with giving the boys some free time to sit and do nothing. In Funny Boys, they have a great deal of time to rest. Come on guys, these boys work from 8-1 and they need half that time sitting around. Right?
  16. Of course it does. I even said in my first post that this was only my opinion. I agree we all have different tastes. To each his own and as long as I am not eating Indian food, I'll be OK.

    Censorship

Many countries censor porn sites. This one is usually fine but I use Netshade proxy when I am overseas and have trouble with any site. I hope all is well with you!
  18. Friends of mine suggested I see this movie before I went to India. I saw it recently and I loved it. I thought it was beautifully done and acted. I loved the story and the characters. I also thought it portrayed India pretty accurately in many ways.
  19. It is closing ONLY for Wednesday. That is the day of the funeral.
  20. The wonderful owners of Salt and Pepper in Day Night 2 will close on Wednesday this week (for one day only). The Thai lady owner's family had a horrific accident on Saturday. Her sister and 2 nieces were killed in a car accident. They were from Rayone but were coming back from Korat. I had seen the news coverage of this but did not realize this was their family until today.Mr. Z and his wife are two of the most incredible people I have ever met. My heart goes out to them.It is a very sad time for this amazing group of people.
  21. I'll admit that I love Breakfast and I think it is a very important part of my day. I get up early and I like to eat early. Pattaya is a gay party paradise. There is simply no place on earth like it. It has every thing a gay man can desire here: sexy guys, great gogo's, a plethora of like minded falangs, an infinite number of secret little hidden gems that people know only by word of month or just happen to wander by. Well, for a few months, I'll try to find some of these little gems in my desire to find a great Breakfast place. I'll test many. I'll love many. I'll hate many. My opinions are only that. They are opinions. I hope everyone realizes that I grew up in the deep South in the USA and to me, good Breakfast entails Biscuits and sausage gravy. I have yet to find that in Thailand but I'll keep searching. I'll try to find 20 decent places in Pattaya that I would be happy to eat in again. I'll rate these on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best. Here goes: Stop 1: Grottino's Bakery in Soi Day Night 2 I have eaten at Grottino's Bakery quite a bit over the years as I use to live directly above the place and they open very early. They serve good coffee. They have a host of regular clients. They are German/Swiss owned and they have a large German clientele. I am not German but I have always felt welcome and comfortable in there. Today, I had the Breakfast Special for 150 baht. This included 2 fried eggs, several small pieces of bacon and a bread basket. The food was tasty and good. It was served fast and it had a very pleasant look to it. Grottino's is very clean and the chairs are comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and quick to take orders and deliver food. It is located right in the Day Night 2 area directly across from Pattaya's best Thai food at Salt and Pepper. You will notice Grottino's by the big penguin out front. It is easy to notice and the bakery has lots of signage. Overall, I liked the food at Grottino's. They have some great hash browns and some German delicacies that I have not seen to many places but for today, I attempted to try just a regular Breakfast special. It tasted good and the service was fast. The cost is very reasonable at 150 baht. A soda is 45 baht. All day breakfast, snacks and Swiss dishes from 07.00 to 19.00 hours Selection of breads, pastries, Swiss cheese, fondue, cold cuts and sausages at the retails shop Tel. 038-723-150 I would give this place a 3.5 out of 5.
  22. I have not seen this book. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I am from an area very close to Nashville and have many friends from there. I don't think true evangelicals will ever change fully. I am constantly told by my friends in that part of the world they love me but hate my sin. LOL These are people I spent most of my childhood with and know that I am a good person. Churches change over time and I have seen the sermons change from "gays are going to hell" to "we love them as long as they don't practice." It is pretty typical of this area and the religion they were taught is "the way." I still enjoy my church back home and I still go there when I am in town. I am totally welcome with hugs and kisses from everyone and everyone knows I am a big gay guy. They do not care to my face. What they say behind my back is often different. I was lucky. I had a very loving and caring mother who when I told her I was gay at 28 was pissed at me not for being gay, but for lying to her all my life. She was totally open and accepting and visited me and the BF's in NYC every year. My BF was always welcome in Alabama for Xmas and was a true part of my family. My aunts and uncles never mentioned the word boyfriend. The would always say, "is your special friend coming for Xmas?" LOL To this date, they always think of him as a special friend and not a boyfriend. When I brought my two VERY conservative aunts to Thailand many years back my boyfriend spent the entire 3 weeks with us touring around. My one older aunt (near 70) looked at the younger one on the plane ride back to USA and said, "what are we going to say about this boy in all our photos?" My younger aunt said, "hell, I am going to say this was Michael's boyfriend. He was good to us and that is the end of it. You tell them what you want but I'll tell them the truth." LOL Still, that was 10 years ago and both Aunts always ask about him and have fond memories. All my Aunts visited NYC with my two long term boyfriends there and loved them. They all still go to very conservative Christian churches and still love me very much.
  23. FourAces, I came out at 28. But, I came flying out the door! It was massive and I had to tell everyone. I have never regretted it and I love being open and honest with friends and family. I have no regrets about this at all. I was not in in 50's yet but I think the same principle applies. Only you know what it will be like but I did loose some friends but looking back, they were not good enough for me anyway and I gained much more in the end. I wish you well in whatever you decide! Hugs and kisses, Oz
