Well, I usually make sure I wash it down with a think liquid and then the scratches don't hurt so much. To be honest, I did try this years ago. It was not all that bad. But, my mother always said, "you can fry shit and it will taste good." That may be true as the grasshoppers were OK.

What browser and OS are you using and I'll test it?

When in Rome, do as the Romans. When in Thailand, do as the Thais. These little "food trucks" are everything in Thailand. I have seen them from one end of the country to the other. Most Thai guys I know when they say they are going to go out and get something to eat, go to ones of these little restaurants on wheels. The food vendors are sometimes a push cart and sometimes a part of a motorcycle. In this photo, you see one of each (one push and one motorcycle.) You can find chicken satay, rice or fruits or just about everything you can think of on these little mobile stations. I usually avoid the ones with the fried bugs but hey, when in Rome....

My boyfriend has a 9 year old son. He spends weekends with us and I enjoy spending time with him. He is a great kid but all he wants to do is play online games (like his dad). He does not speak English. He can say hello and goodbye and some basic words but not too much. He is not doing bad in school but he is also not doing great. I would love for him to have some great learning experiences but Private School is out of the question as I had offered to send him there years ago and the grandmother would not have it. She wanted him in a public school and it may be too late to transfer him and I am sure he is behind others in his grade. So, what can I do to get him a real education? Tutors? English Lessons? He is in public school and he does not even read and write Thai well. I want to make sure he has a great future but I am also an outsider. Any recommendations? Suggestions?

How much time do you spend when you visit a gay GoGo Bar in Thailand?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I agree with all of these. I do think there are a few bars on Pattaya that meet these requirements. It is harder to find in Bangkok as some of the bars have such loud music I can't even hear myself think. I like to be above to have a conversation with someone if I am there with them or if I have a boy sit with me without me yelling or loosing my voice. -
I agree with this statement. However, I do enjoy A-Bomb as well and was just discussing it with a friend who also likes Alpha boys. We plan to check it out this week. But, I also agree that all bars do not need to be like A-Bomb and if that were the case, there would be little reason for most to visit Pattaya. Having a good mix of everything is what leads to success IMHO.

Please fill this board with "genuine and good info" as opposed to calling someone a buffoon. You have very few posts on this site and thus as such your comment comes really as odd. As far as Heygay is concerned, he posts "genuine and good info" on threads and he tells about his experiences and they are usually pretty accurate. At times he embellishes and tries his humor which many don't appreciate. However, he has proven to many that he knows the area really well and he does try to help others enjoy Thailand. Do I think he is wrong in many statements about bars only being successful if they have Alpha males? Yes, I do. But, it is obvious to anyone that has ever visited Thailand. The most successful bars are the ladyboy bars. They pack in more customers, the ladies have more offs and they make more money. You may call this speculation but it is what I believe. Now, does that mean that I don't like Alpha males and would go to a bar with them? No, I love them but when I am with friends, rarely do I ever go to a bar that has what we all like. So, when we find bars that have a good mix, we flock to him and spend money there as we can all find something we enjoy. HeyGay often goes to bars with guys that like exactly what he likes. That is fine too but in his mind, this is what makes a successful bar. It is just not accurate.

I think we went on different nights. Toyboys was not all alpha males. It had mostly gay boys with some more fem and some alphas mixed. But, the overall makeup of the boys on the 4 nights I have been there in the last 2 weeks has been great. Sexy guys. Beautiful faces. I don't think man boys fill the till at Funny Boys either and yet every time I am in there it is filled with customers. The thing I think these bars have is that they do not cater to you and me or to someone that wants only fem boys. They cater to EVERYONE. The nights I have been in there, there was a bit of everything for anyone who has eyes to see and likes guys. And, it is that mix that I think makes success.

I have dealt with Internet Law for over 15 years. Not once have I heard of that scenario happening. Admittedly, I deal with mostly adult related sites. I think the chance of that happening is about as good as getting struck by lightening. Though, I think to be proven, it would be harder than recovering from the strike.

There was a post on this board about 2 weeks back re: this. The Thai lady that runs the place is fantastic lady and her family is important to her. Her sister and 2 nieces were in a car accident and all 3 died. A truck driver ran over the line and killed all 3. It was very traumatic for the family.

Michael disagrees with you. I have yet to see a lawsuit for what happens on a board. But, it seems impossible for me that a board owner is sued for what is taking place on another board that he does not run. That, IMHO, is just never going to happen! I agree with Z that cooperation between boards is important but each should run independently and make their own decisions. If Z and Gaybutton get into an argument on his board, why on earth should that mean he is banned on this board or other boards. That just does not make sense to me.

Totally agree with Firecat. I have been very happy with the high quality of boys at Toy Boys. They have a great group of good looking guys and the place keeps a nice flow of customers. It is very well run and reasonably priced. I think we paid 150 baht for the drinks and that is the same prices as the bars in Sunee and there were a ton more boys at this place than I have seen in any bar in Sunee in a while. But, Toy Boys also has some of the cutest guys that I have seen of any bar in Pattaya. Naturally, it is all about your tastes and Firecat and I have different tastes and yet the one thing we have agreed on each time we have went to Toy Boys in Pattaya is that the boys are hot and sexy.

Salt and Pepper has been open most of the week. They did close for Saturday and Sunday this week but will reopen on Monday. The owners are great people and they did suffer a tragedy and trying to cope with that the best they can. They are amazing people who run a great place.

I totally agree. Firecat and I were having breakfast this AM and we were actually talking about the show. We both love it and think it has great potential. Plus, the lead actor is hot! We were talking about "super powers" and I don't think he has any. I think he was taught to be extraordinary and nothing is "special" that someone can't learn. Am I wrong?

I am speaking of USA. I am a Socialist at heart and I believe in supporting many things. But, I don't like the tax code or those trying to play with it. I would love to see fully funded programs for art and music from the government and from individuals. But, I do not like to see people's taxes lowered based on their gifts to charity. I'd love to do away with the tax code completely and base everything on a flat rate. No exemptions. No exceptions if you make over a certain amount of income. Sorry, but that does include art and music as well as churches. There are too many ways to gain the system in the USA and I'd love to see it all disappear.

There is an app on the Apple App Store called IPS Buddy. I use it to log into many sites online. I think it is free and I use the info for boytoy.com/forums and log in and tested this. I also tested with Safari and it worked for me. Be sure you use the right URL for the forums and you log in from the main page and it should work. If you are accessing a different way, please let me know exactly what you are using to view the site and I'll try to figure this out.

The election is very close and IMHO, a true toss up. I have predicted Romney would win with my friends as I know how much big money he has behind him but I also know both camps have spent near 1 billion each on this election. INSANE. It kills me to see this. I am hoping for an Electoral tie and a Constitutional crisis so we can get enough support to do away with the Electoral College. And, this is possible with the make up of this election. As an American, my vote is not important as I don't live in one of the few swing states.

I am in love!

One of the things I really love about Thailand is the ability to drive my motorcycle. It feels like freedom to drive in the wind by the sea. Of course, I have a scooter and in Thailand there are many kinds of motorbikes on the streets. I saw this one and could really picture myself riding it. LOL
