  1. No doubt in my mind that I think pot should be legalized totally. Cocaine? I think in small quantities that no one should go to jail for it. I hate drugs though but I hate the way the current system works even more.

  3. This week, Allison Vivas of Pink Visual received a fax from Newt Gingrich’s American Solutions for Winning the Future (ASWF) group, informing her that she’s been chosen for a 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year award by his Business Defense and Advisory Council. From the letter obtained by ThinkProgress: Newt would like to arrange a private dinner with you at the historic Capitol Hill Club on the evening of October 7, 2009 in Washington. You’ll dine privately with Newt at this exclusive venue and he’ll take the occasion to present you with your well deserved award and have your photo taken together. This tremendous honor is a testament to your success in building your business and recognition of the risks you take to create jobs and stimulate the economy. As an award winner, you’ll be on the ground floor as Newt and his Council begin the work to turn this country around. … Newt is looking forward to hearing your ideas on getting the economy moving again and getting your feedback on his plans over dinner. Pink Visual is a porn DVD superstore — not the type of company you’d expect Gingrich would want stimulating the economy. ThinkProgress contacted Gingrich aide Joe Gaylord, who sent the faxed letter to Vivas, but we didn’t receive a response. An ASWF representative reportedly called Pink Visual this morning saying it had “inadvertently” sent the fax to Vivas and was retracting the honor. Pink Visual’s marketing coordinator Q Boyer didn’t buy the excuse: “Allison was disappointed to receive a call this morning from an ASWF representative stating that the fax had been sent to her ‘inadvertently,’” Boyer told AVN.com. “We’re not entirely clear on how one ‘inadvertently’ sends a fax to the right person at the correct fax number, so our sense is that this is damage control on the part of a group that is having second thoughts about either recognizing the excellent work of a porn company entrepreneur in light of their own conservative political and social orientation, or having second thoughts about their promotional methodology and communication protocols.” Ironically, on May 17, 1995, Gingrich led a press conference on Capitol Hill announcing the Christian Coalition’s 10-point “Contract with the American Family,” a conservative legislative wish list. One of the items in the contract: restricting pornography. From Gingrich’s comments: “We are committed to scheduling the hearings, to scheduling the mark-up and to scheduling the bills on the floor,” Gingrich said. “We’re committed to implementing the contract with the family.“ Gingrich’s Business Defense and Advisory Council appears to be an outreach to small businesses nationwide. We spoke with Larry Kudeviz, owner of Genesis Press in South Carolina and previous award-winner. Kudeviz said that when he attended the dinner with Gingrich recently, there were about 30 or 40 other entrepreneurs there. He, like Vivas, was surprised to get the award because he had never had any contact with the Speaker. Since the dinner, he has continued to receive e-mail updates from ASWF. Jarvis Coffin, CEO and President of Burst Media, also received an invitation to attend the Oct. 7 dinner with Gingrich. In a post on the Huffington Post, he wondered how Gingrich’s group found his e-mail address and whether it was breaking FCC rules by sending unsolicited faxes. The outreach by ASWF left a “bad taste in my mouth,” wrote Coffin. Listed on the agenda for the dinner is time for video testimonies. In the fax Gaylord sent to Vivas, this portion is circled with the note, “Please come prepared to share your thoughts on how we can help your business.” Vivas also received a fax showing a mock award and a replica of the “gavel that changed America” that she would be receiving: http://thinkprogress.org/2009/09/11/gingrich-porn/

This new show is one of the funniest I have seen in ages. I am loving it. If you haven't had a chance to see it, download it and watch it. Perhaps it is just I am a Broadway Queen but I love this new show!
  5. Honestly, I do not easily have sympathy for someone who is worth as much as she is, or Michael Jackson, and then they let stupid people advise them on money matters. The rich always want to get richer quicker. If I were in that category, I would surround myself with the smartest men around and then take the investment opportunities that are least likely to do any damage. For me, I think I'd invest in a gay gogo bar in Utah. Why? Well, there are few gogo bars in the country and Utah needs a good ass shaking more than anyone, and much potential if I am willing to wait and build up clientele over the next 30 years. I see it as a gold mine.
  6. I agree with you and we will change some of the forums on the new version.
  7. Sorry, this reminded me of Rummy: There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. Donald Rumsfeld As you all think on this and contemplate it, I'll just say: I know. I know I know. I know you know I know. Now that it is known, I know what to do. I'll need to move on from this topic. But, in case anyone wants to send me a paypal donation to visit the Montreal strip clubs, PM me and I'll give my info. I promise, I will not let those that are not in the know, know.
  8. Well, I hope the new owners do better. I would love to buy the place. Is it cheap? JK I would be a horrible businessman for a bar. I would want all the boys to drink for free and want them all to live me with. That would up my expenditures. I think JKane got it right. This would be perfect for Brandon Baker!
  9. We would like to welcome ThailandVisa.com to our site! They are now the only banners on the site for 2009. Check them out at: http://www.thailandvisa.com They are a banner free, spam free site for visa and immigration issues.
  10. Her work inspired me in photography school many years ago. She was someone I looked at as a true genius and full of such amazing talent and grace. Did anyone see the movie about her last year? I was simply amazed when I saw it.
  11. Thanks Lucky! I am lucky that you only deemed me a vulture. I will say that my first offer was advice and assistance. I was most willing to help him and offered this advice free and most graciously. But, you are right, I am not Mother Teresa and have tried too hard to mend fences over the years that I should not have even made any gesture at all. It was a business offer and perhaps an fair one and if it was cash that was needed I wanted to put my name in the pot. No hatred from me. I am all about love and world peace. (Miss Congeniality) Not sure what you are referring to at the funeral to be honest. If you think I have ever lied about anything, please sit down with me and ask me any questions you want. I'll be totally honest and upfront with you about any question you have. I am often said to be too honest that I hurt feelings easily and that is also never my intent. There is really no hatred at all Jackhammer. Honestly there is NONE. I am sure that my postings on this thread even made TY uncomfortable. It was never my intent to make anyone feel uncomfortable and if I did that, I do apologize. I have been taught by some of my mentors on this board that I should know when to "hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away and know when to run." I should have stayed way clear of this thread. Simple intelligence told me that. My gut reaction told me that. My fingers did the walking and just didn't know they should be resting. I never really thought about Daddy being embarrassed or in denial. It just did not occur to me until you brought that up. My main point after I saw this thread was simply to point out that things are not often how they look. I can’t imagine that Daddy is hurting for money as the site should be a win/win for him. But, I may just be such a bad judge of websites and the money potential that they can make that I overestimated what Daddy should be making. I should have said my two cents and then shut up. I’ll do that now.
  12. September 9 is the 40th birthday of the automated teller machine in the US. I think this is such a great day as I always feel like a walking ATM when in Thailand so I guess it is my Birthday too!
  13. One of my favorite photographers could end up loosing the rights to her amazing collection if debts are not paid soon. This would be a true shame if this were to happen. If you have never seen the film about her last year, buy it or rent it. It is amazing. I hope this is settled up and she retains her rights to her collections. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/US/09/08/leibo...debt/index.html
  14. It is almost upon us. I was in NYC when the attacks happened. I had just woken up to a nightmare. I had friends in the towers and my BF was at school on 24th and 8th Avenue. At that time I owned an escort agency in NYC. I had to take my business phones off the hook for days as the tragedy took us all in New York by surprise and we were not sure what we were going to do. It was the most I had cried in years. The towers are still not rebuilt. I would love to see them again. I can't wait to see what the developers do to that area. My friends still have dogs that needed adoption because of displacement of their families. For me, each September 11, I pause and think back to those horrific days and weeks. It was almost as if the world stood still for me. It wasn't long after that when I sold my business in NYC and moved on with my life. I still am not sure how much of the move was motivated by fear of a repeat attack and how much was motivated by my desire for a change. In either case, those hours and days are still embedded in my memory.
  15. Perhaps Hillary would have been a better choice for the humping? I don't think many of those in Congress are open to getting humped by Obama. Although, if I were there, I would.
  16. I have gotten 3 e-mails from David SF about his new site and requests to donate to Daddy. I cannot tell you how shocked I am that people actually buy into all this. It really is mind-boggling. I don't mind requests for donations to help a site. No problem with that at all. I don't mind solicitations at all either. But, I am one of the few people who seem to realize what Daddy should make from his site each year. When I first read these requests for donations, I sent Daddy and e-mail and offered a good monthly income to Daddy to "help him out" in exchange for his traffic. Naturally, he did not respond. Why? The answer is simple. He either hates me to the point of unable to communicate or he doesn't really NEED the money (notice the difference between need and want). I see no reason to hate me other than I am a pain in the ass. So, that leaves one other option. For those that can't add 2 plus 2 and get 4. The requests for donations are a joke!
  17. Pattaya, September 8 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Tuesday Morning, the Banglamung District Licensing Officials were back in Soi Sunee Plaza in South Pattaya to check a total of 4 bars who were known to be operating illegally following previous raids. The raid was led by Khun Pongtasit, the Deputy Chief of Banglamung District who raided the Villa Rouge Bar, the Crazy Dragon Bar, the Red Night Pub and the Sundance Bar. A total of 12 employees under the age of 18 were found and 34 employees failed drug tests. The Deputy District Chief told us that he would impose an initial 30 day closure order on all venues pending further investigations and promised to continue checking bars in the Sunee Plaza area over the coming weeks. http://www.pattayaone.net/news/2009/september/news_08_09_52_3.shtml

  19. For those of you that travel a great deal, I have found smtp.com a lifesaver. It basically acts as your place that sends and receives e-mails. Many hotels have built in firewalls and if you use Outlook or Entrarogue you may have to change to a specific port. Then, the change when you return home and then change again in a new place. SMTP.com eliminates the need for this. I have now used it for over a year and really been happy with it.
  20. I have a fax number that I use for business. I have been getting several annoying faxes that are not solicited. I have requested that the companies stop faxing but nothing seems to help. I found this article on line and will be my next step. Has anyone found an easier way to stop these faxes? http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/unwantedfaxes.html
  21. I have been to this "beauty" shop many times and always enjoy it. The guys are sweet and cute. The place is clean. It is right around the corner from DJ Station and Silom 4. The offer hair cuts, massages, waxes, manicures and pedicures. I needed a manicure and pedicure and went there for a bit. I got good service with cute boys that I enjoyed flirting with. The cost is 300 for a manicure and 300 for a pedicure. The package deal was 500 baht total for both. They did a good job on them. Their prices are reasonable and they seem to stay pretty consistent. I much prefer a little taxi ride to support a gay own business that supports the gay community as to go next door to my place. http://cuteyandbeauty.com
  22. I am currently in the process of buying medical insurance. I was not able to find a policy in the USA that covered me overseas that didn't cost 1k or more a month. I finally found a global plan that covers 100 percent of all my medical expenses (less 1k per year deductible) and for about 360 USD a month. I was thrilled. I am now excited to see what becomes of the health care plan that finally comes out of Congress. It is something that is needed. I am just not sure I'll see vast changes in the next few years.
  23. It doesn't seem to have affected them all that much. Many listings in every city. Most don't care all that much and may have found ways around it. I'm old. I remember back to when AOL was the best way to get clients for my "guys" and I would sit in the chat room 24/7. AOL then banned the word escort and my screen name was deleted. Then many started using the word companion. Escorting is as old as time and seems to evolve no matter what obstacles are thrown at it. The Internet has helped a great deal IMHO.
  24. Most interesting IMHO. Live and let live.
  25. Anyone read this book yet? I have friends that say it is wonderful. Anyone had a chance to read yet?
