  1. It was great to see the Queer as Folk actor in a role on the new season. Brian Kenny was always hot. There was one nice scene with him in his underwear. Perhaps not the chiseled body he had before but still hot as hell. The the gay son of the perfect housewife is still as cute as ever in his role. I hope they develop his character more this season.
  2. I have sent e-mail after e-mail to try to work together on some joint ventures and none of my attempts get a response. I have sent the e-mails to both the corporate e-mail and the private ones and yet none are responded to. All I can do is try. Thanks for updating us on the events Townie. When business relationships that are long lasting are strained, often they are unrepairable but I hope this is not the case with these two.
  3. You look very eloquent and sexy. If I had another sweet 16 party, you would be top on my list.
  4. Some really hot guys this year. I like Marcus: http://www.omgblog.com/2008/09/omg_survivo..._marcu.php#more Hit tally wanker hanging out is adorable. I also like: Charlie - Adorable, cute and pretty. Matty is one hot MF. Dan is also hot. Ken as I like Asian boys but don't think he stands a chance. The first 2 are voted out and gone. Who will win? It is really way to early to tell, but I am hoping for Matty. Can he stay cool?
  5. I got this letter from cyberpimp regarding the German event of Hustlaball. I have known Jeff for many years and hope that whatever disputes they are in with Tom are resolved to everyone's satisfaction. Tom threw many amazing parties before he retired and Jeff threw a fabulous event in Las Vegas last year and I am sure the one in NYC will be great as well. Lets come out and support him for these great events and hope that they are able to resolve their disputes amicably. Dear friend of the Hustlaball: You may have recently received a vaguely threatening and intimidating email from Mr. Tom Weise regarding “marketplace confusion” relating to certain upcoming Hustlaball events. I apologize in advance for the tenor of this message; however recent events have compelled me to respond and shed some light on certain misstatements made in Mr. Weise’s email. Hustlaball was originally envisioned as a promotional party for rentboy.com. It was intended to celebrate marginalized / alternative lifestyles and was produced by HB Events, Inc., together with its affiliate, Easy Rent Systems, Inc., owner of the rentboy.com trademark. These events were promoted by rentboy.com as early as 1998; though in 2002, we formed HB Events Inc. to more fully protect our intellectual property and not surprisingly “HB” stands for “Hustlaball”. Until recently, we were privileged to have Mr. Weise as a paid employee on our team. Upon his heralded “retirement” from the adult industry in September 2007, Tom left our employ (for which most would remember that we threw him a party in NYC, at our expense) and moved to Germany. He and his associate Stephan (Sascha) Muller-Bardone (SMB Berlin) thereafter informed us that they intended to produce Hustlaball events in Europe notwithstanding our ownership of the mark that is utilized in connection with the production of the events. After giving it some thought, we were initially delighted and we even offered a simple plan to license the name to SMB so that Tom and Sascha could continue producing this incredible event. We even offered to have our affiliate, rentboy.com, sponsor the German event. However after weeks of stonewalling we learned that regrettably Tom and Sascha did not intend to honor their longstanding agreements in regard to the Berlin 2007 event, nor did they wish to reach any reasonable settlement. We were left with no choice but to undertake legal action to protect ourselves. Needless to say, the claims that Tom makes in his email are utterly without merit and you have nothing to fear in terms of reprisals from him. Tom and Sascha have chosen the unfortunate path of proceeding in a divisive and destructive manner at the expense of the Hustlaball name to avoid the payment of what ultimately amounts to just a few thousand Euros. Doing the right thing would have paved the way to a strong positive cooperation between us, instead of this rancor. Tom does state one truth in his email; Tom Weise didn’t authorize our events. This is simply because he has no authority to do so. The Hustlaball mark is the rightful property of HB Events, Inc. despite Tom’s attempts to treat the mark as his own. In an effort to clear up any “market confusion” alleged by Tom, we wish to be clear. HB Events, Inc. owns the Hustlaball mark and continues to produce various parties under its umbrella in Las Vegas, New York, London and various other cities. The events produced by HB Events, Inc. have always had the full financial backing of HB Events, Inc. and our affiliate, rentboy.com; we have never failed to pay anyone any amounts agreed to be paid and we take our ethical and moral obligations incredibly seriously. We are saddened by the lack of foresight and maturity exhibited in recent emails emanating from our former colleagues in Germany. We apologize on Tom’s behalf for the compromising position into which he is trying to put you, for whatever it may be worth. We don’t think you should be forced to “choose sides” over what boils down to a private financial disagreement. HB Events, Inc. remains dedicated to producing these parties and bringing industry people together, not trying to separate people apart into fractious, muckraking and uncooperative camps. HB Events Inc., and all of our associates producing the events around the world will not attempt to intimidate or penalize anyone who participates in the German event, nor castigate them afterwards. We feel this is counterproductive for the industry and we just want people to have fun; after all these are parties we are talking about, no? We will leave it entirely up to you to decide if you want to be involved with Tom and Sascha in Germany. The German event does not have our backing in any way whatsoever, and we are not responsible for anything that occurs there. We hope you will continue to support the legal, authorized and original Hustlaball parties, especially the one on 12th of October in New York City, and wherever we produce them in the future. We also hope you have a great Hustlaball, whether you choose to attend in New York or Berlin this October. For more information about the Hustlaball, please visit the official event website at http://www.hustlaball.com/. If you agree with us, we ask for your full support. It’s not too late to get involved with us in NYC next month! We have sponsorship packages available, other ways to participate, and various VIP packages available if you plan to attend. If you are committed to promoting adult and alternative lifestyles around the globe and feel they are useful to our industry, please vote with your checkbook or talent. Contact Clint Calero at +1.212.376.5300 x162 or Brandon Baker x213 and sign up today as a collaborator and let’s have some fun together! Yours truly, Jeffrey Davids, as authorized spokesperson for HB Events Inc.
  6. I wish I knew more about Linux machines. What browser are you using?
  7. Congrats on doing this again Steven. You are to be commended. Last year, I think you raised a great deal of money. What was your final total? What is your goal for this year?
  8. Thanks. I was supposed to do a long run on Saturday in the USA but I was held hostage in Thailand. We were suppose to board a non stop plane to USA but they kept delaying and delaying and delaying and finally they cancelled it for the night and put us up in a hotel. They confiscated our passports and shuttled us to the hotel. We had to be back at airport by 6:00 AM the next morning and by the time the plane left, another day was wasted and my last long run before the long trek was not made. I did get into USA in order to have a last week before the run. I am now more worried than ever that I won't finish as I did a mountain run today for 8 miles and it was at a 16 min per mile pace. That is about 4 minutes off the needed time to finish in under 6 hours. So, I have some work to do. The run is not an uphill run so that will help shave off a few minutes but it is not going to be easy anyway. I have found my IPod is my new best friend. The GPS is great and I am using a program called runkeeper which records my time, distance, elevation, etc and then uploads it to their site for me to compare and learn. I have send the link to my family and they have been watching it as well. The time is ticking and I am working hard but not sure that the tired old body will be able to pump it out. Only time will tell.
  9. Thank you to everyone I met and spent time with over the past many months. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I had a great time every day and I do envy those that are able to afford to stay there year round and have the party day and night. I learned many things on this trip and tried many things I had never experienced. Still, the BF and I are going strong and I don't expect that to change any time in the near future. He is the main reason for my return to Pattaya each year. If not for him, I think Chiang Mai is more suited for me and I love the climate and the atmosphere there. When in Pattaya I often get sucked into the vacuum of go go go go go do do do do and little relaxation. I am back in the states for a bit and then to my beloved in Brazil. He is working hard for a trip to Thailand to meet the other BF and I have put it off as long as I can and I hope he doesn't use his persuasive techniques to get me to spring for a trip. Right now, I am relaxing in my new home town and just got back from eating dinner with some friends from years gone by. For those of you in LOS, have a blast and enjoy each day and for those of you with impending trips, don't forget to savor each moment. It passes by so quickly.
  10. No, but when they visit me, they seem to go through white gloves as fast as I go through Viagra. My favorite Aunt refuses to let any of the family who have animals in their home cook for holidays. Since I am a dog man, I am allowed to bring soda and plastic containers only. I did cook some MJ Brownies one year and got a few high as a kite but that did not go over well and was chastised for it for many years. Now, I just sit back and relax and let them do all the work.
  11. The first thread was by biboy and he changed it. The second one was from me in which I talked about Brad Pitt giving money to support gay rights in California. I think the discussion is a relevant one and even though the first post was a mistake, the discussion itself is not a mistake. I applaud Brad and Steven Spielberg who also donated money to stop the ballot in California. I am happy that BiBoy brought up the topic and I think it is relevant to the gay community. If the initial post was all that was in this thread stood alone, it would have been deleted. However, the band played on and the conversation moved forward.
  12. I loved Clay on Idol and hope that the reports that he is coming out is true. He would be a good role model for many. LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - After years of dodging questions, former "American Idol" singer Clay Aiken will acknowledge he is a gay man in an interview with People magazine set to run on its Web site Wednesday, according to media reports. Celebrity site Perezhilton.com on Tuesday published a photo of the cover of People magazine's upcoming issue on which Aiken cradles his new son, Parker Foster Aiken, in his arms. The caption reads "Yes, I'm Gay," and underneath is a quote from Aiken on his decision to come out of the closet that says: "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things." In August this year, Aiken's friend, music producer Jaymes Foster, gave birth to the baby fathered by Aiken. A spokeswoman for People would neither confirm nor deny that Aiken told the magazine he is gay. But the magazine issued a statement saying, "We can confirm that Clay Aiken and his son appear on the next cover of People. For the complete story, visit people.com at 7 a.m. (EDT Wednesday) (1100 GMT) morning." Aiken, 29, gained fame as a contestant on the No. 1-rated U.S. TV talent show "American Idol" in 2003. He was the runner-up that season but went on to build a solid singing career on his own. He currently appears on Broadway in "Monty Python's SPAMALOT." For years, Aiken has dodged questions about whether he is homosexual despite persistent rumors on the subject. He has said, generally, that his sexuality was nobody's business but his own. In 2006, ABC television's Diane Sawyer asked Aiken and he shot back that it was a "really rude" question. He also dodged it in a previous interview with People magazine saying that readers "are going to believe what they want." http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainme...E48N04S20080924

  15. Here is the article: SAN FRANCISCO — Could Senator Barack Obama’s popularity among black voters hurt gay couples in California who want to marry? Mr. Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, is against the measure. But opponents of the proposed ban worry that many black voters, enthused by Mr. Obama’s candidacy but traditionally conservative on issues involving homosexuality, could pour into voting stations in record numbers to punch the Obama ticket — and then cast a vote for Proposition 8. “It’s a Catch-22,” said Andrea Shorter, the campaign director of And Marriage for All, a coalition of gay and civil rights groups that recently started what it calls an education campaign around the state, focusing on blacks and framing the issue of same-sex marriage as one of civil rights. The Obama/Proposition 8 situation appeals to those opposed to same-sex marriage, who are banking on a high turnout by blacks and conservative Latinos. “There’s no question African-American and Latino voters are among our strongest supporters,” said Frank Schubert, the co-campaign manager for Yes on 8, the leading group behind the measure. “And to the extent that they are motivated to get to the polls, whether by this issue or by Barack Obama, it helps us.” To blunt that possibility, gay leaders and Proposition 8 opponents have been sponsoring casual events at restaurants in traditionally black neighborhoods in Los Angeles, meeting with black clergy members and recruiting gay black couples to serve as spokespeople on panels and at house parties and church events. “This is black people talking to black people,” said Ron Buckmire, the board president of the Barbara Jordan/Bayard Rustin Coalition, a gay rights group in Los Angeles. “We’re saying, ‘Gay people are black and black people are gay. And if you are voting conservative on an antigay ballot measure, you are hurting the black community.’ ” Black voters account for 6 percent of likely voters in most statewide elections, according to the Public Policy Institute of California, while Hispanic voters make up about 15 percent. But taken together, those two groups could easily decide the election, people on both sides of the issue said. “If the white Christian evangelic movement believes they can do it alone, I’ve got news for you,” said the Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference in Sacramento, which supports the measure. “They don’t have the sheer numbers to do it without the minority effort.” The Obama factor is just one potential element in the battle over Proposition 8. Both sides said they expected to spend $20 million or more to help blanket airwaves. One advertisement by opponents shows a heterosexual bride on her way to the altar thwarted by various obstacles — a broken door, a clingy child — before the tagline: “What if you couldn’t marry the person you loved?” Polls have shown Proposition 8 is trailing. A Field Poll of likely voters conducted last week found the measure was favored by 38 percent of voters and opposed by 55 percent. Mr. Obama, who has said he does not favor same-sex marriage, has stated his opposition to Proposition 8, calling the measure “divisive and discriminatory” in a letter to a gay Democratic club in San Francisco. But opponents are not declaring victory. “We think there’s 15 to 20 percent that are still undecided on this issue,” said Geoff Kors, executive director of Equality California, which supports gay rights. “We do believe that if we can get our message out at least equal to the other side, we will win, but that’s a fund-raising issue.” Mr. Kors said opponents of Proposition 8 had raised about $12 million so far. Supporters of the proposition, which qualified for the ballot shortly after the Supreme Court decision, said they had raised about $15 million. Those donations include money from religious and conservative groups, including $1 million from the Knights of Columbus and $500,000 from the American Family Association, run by the Rev. Donald E. Wildmon. That group’s Web site includes a fund-raising video for Proposition 8 featuring a clip of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. while a speaker comments on the duty of black pastors to speak out in favor of Proposition 8. Some supporters of the measure also say they sense a newfound enthusiasm in their ranks since Gov. Sarah Palin became the running mate of the Republican presidential nominee, Senator John McCain. “I think Governor Palin has obviously energized social conservatives and religious conservatives and all types of conservatives,” said Bruce Hausknecht, judicial analyst with Focus on the Family Action, the lobbying arm of Focus on the Family, a conservative group that has spent nearly $450,000 on supporting Proposition 8. “And if that motivates more of them to get out to the ballot box than would have for John McCain by himself that has to benefit socially conservative issues like Prop. 8.” The black community has long had a conflicted relationship with gay men and lesbians, Mr. Buckmire said, equal parts homophobia and denial. “For too long, black people seemed to think there were no gay people around, especially black ministers,” Mr. Buckmire said. “They’d say the most insanely anti-gay things, and then the choir would come up and the choir is 50 percent gay.” Still, the tendency of black voters to oppose gay marriage extends beyond religion. Patrick J. Egan, an assistant professor of politics at New York University who has studied black voting patterns on same-sex marriage, said black voters consistently polled much lower than white voters on approval for same-sex marriage, about 16 percentage points, even when religion was not a factor. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/21/us/polit...amp;oref=slogin
  16. Funny Boys continues to have one of the best selections in town. They have something for every taste and desire. The seating is very comfortable and the atmosphere is excellent. The mamasan is one of the best around and knows her boys. Funny Boys is Fantastic.
  17. Black society in general has always been more homophobic. Part of this is the machismo in the culture. I have always loved and adored black men and many of my relationships in NYC was with them. They were totally gay to me and all the friends but were very closeted with their family as they said their family would not understand. Also, having run an escort service for a bit, I know of many gay black guys who were kicked out of their home when their families found out. I know the same happens in white and Latin and Asian homes as well but it did seem to me to happen more in the black boys. This is just my opinion based on many years of observations. I read the article you quoted and the fear is that with so many blacks going to vote they worry that this may affect the gay marriage ban. I hope that is NOT the case.
  18. With the USA's attention for many years on war instead of peace, we have forsaken Russian and the developing democracy there. We made a choice to put the money from the US Government toward that of war in the Middle East. We should have put as much or more into developing closer ties and a closer relationship with Russia. The decisions made in the past make come back to haunt us. http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/americas...a.ap/index.html It seems the Russian Navy is sending some ships with joint maneuvers to Venezuela. This is in response to the USA sending ships to Georgia for aid. Whose nuke is the biggest is not the real questions but who is willing to use it is the scary one.
  19. LOL No problem. I just can't see Brad or Angelina doing something not politically correct. They seem to be the most loved couple on earth right behind Anthony & Cleopatra. Loved the Rome episode when she went out in style.

Well, you are right. Bizarre is perhaps a good word to describe it. Great storyline and writing. Just finished the first episode with my jaws dropped a few times. Looking forward to seeing more over the week.
  21. On the verge of my first marathon, I find myself excited, scared, exhilarated and depressed all at the same time. First, I am not really sure what someone my age is doing running his first marathon. It seemed like such an impossible task when I first thought about the idea. To run 26 miles on one day just seemed like something only a lunatic could do. The more I thought about it, the closer I started looking at races and which one would suit me the best. I picked a race and a city and started getting ready for it. Instead of loosing weight, I have gained weight on this journey. I am not sure if I am eating more or I am just not concentrating on the workouts the way I did a month ago. In any case, the day of reckoning is less than a few weeks away and I find myself working hard each day to put in the needed miles that was suggested so that I won’t hurt or kill myself. This week was a 15-mile run. It took slightly over 3 hours for me to do. I have to say that that is not a great pace but will put me in around my goal to finish the race. What I didn’t expect was the needed pee breaks, the protein bars after each hour and a really sore neck and back the day after. Next week, I’ll do a 20 mile run to see if that is something I can do and if so, it looks like I am headed to the 26 mile shin dig soon. The journey to get to the race has been a great adventure. I have found myself so tired at times that sex is not even anywhere on my mind. I find my sleeping has become better than ever. Last night, I was so hard sleeping that I fell off my bed. I have not done that is over 20 years. The boyfriend freaked out and thought I was dying. I hit the floor pretty hard and it scarred him. He said I just cursed a lot and went back to bed but he didn’t sleep well as I kept trying to edge to the end of the bed. LOL Life continues to thrill me and while I am still a fat dirty old pervert, the extra training I have been doing to get ready for this task has been a real journey. It has had its ups and downs but I have really enjoyed the ride. I don’t know if I will make it to race day the first weeks of October or if I will have to drop out and do another one. I am hoping for no injuries, surprises or drama. But, as the 15-mile run was a breeze, I look forward to my last weeks of training for this. Please keep your fingers crossed for me and send good thoughts my way. I need them. Oz
  22. OK. OK. I know this is goofy but I was a big fan of the original series and this one is amazing. I love the new car and all the new features. While the lead actor is hot, is not the same object of my desire that the original one was. I do love his tats and think that the clothes off scene in the first episode was hot. All in all though, a fun show to see!

  24. Brad Pitt announced Wednesday that he's donating $100,000 to fight California's Proposition 8, a November ballot initiative that would eliminate same-sex couples' right to marry. "Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," the actor said in a statement. Pitt's donation marks the largest thus far to the anti-Prop. 8 campaign by an A-list celebrity. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-et...1,3909224.story
