For some posters, we have told them very politely to be nice and not stir up trouble. Most heed the call. Some do not. When we have a problem with someone making posts that are inappropriate we put them on Moderated Status. What this means is that a moderator must approve their post before it goes live. We do this to ensure the continued success of the board. Today, we have placed over 5 people on Moderated Status. We still want you to post but we will need to approve those posts before they are live. For members who have been active for a while on the board, we have limited this Moderated Status to 10 days to see how things go. When we have a new member that starts posting, we put them on Moderated Status indefinitely. We do apologize for this inconvenience to some posters but let me refer those of you that can't get along with each other to 2 other forums that are great: http://www.sawatdee-gay-thailand.com http://www.baht-stop.com Thanks for your participation! Keeing in Touch with your BF when out of Thailand

Perhaps too much spirit was why they were needed in the first place. Amsterdam can be a bit too much spirit at times. -
Damm, I missed it. I hope the night is successful and he keeps it going. Clubber is great food and the owner is always full of laughter and spirit.

Coming back from travel on NWA, I my point of first destination was Detroit. I have been stopped when I come back from Thailand or Asia on every occasion bur never from Europe. I always plan time for them to search my bags and everything I own. I did the same this time. However, this time I asked for a supervisor and he came over. I asked if I was on a list and he said, I have no idea. I said why wouldn’t you tell me if I am on a list. He said, “You know the answer to that question.” I said, “No, I actually don’t.” He walked away. After 40 min of checking my luggage and my computers, they took my computers from the open area behind into a secure invisible room I was not able to see what the did. I asked that they not remove them from my site and they kept going. I asked why they were being taken and they did not respond. When they returned, they said I could repack my things and go. I again asked for a supervisor. He came over and I asked him for his card. He said he did not have one. I asked for him name. He gave it to me but it was of French origin and could not spell it and asked that he spell it for me. He refused and left. I asked 3 other agents for him to spell the name and they all refused. When I got back home, I found 2 things. One, they had put spy ware on my computer when I logged in the first time. I will now have to reformat my entire computer. Second, they deleted my entire photo library. It was filled with scans I had made of my Aunt’s family albums. It had over 4500 photos in it. None were porn. None were questionable. None were inappropriate. I did have other porn on the computer, as I own porn websites that is legal age porn. With those photo sets in another area of my computer, they each had a proper ID that would fulfill the new 2257 requirements. They checked my documents, read my e-mail and made a backup of my computer hard drive and another drive I use for ITunes. Is this legal? What recourses do I have?

Keeing in Touch with your BF when out of Thailand

You are 100 percent correct. My apologies. I was confusing you with FreeYourMind. Not sure why I did that other than Jetlag and lack of sleep for 2 days. When I am wrong, I say I am wrong and my apologies to you as I fucked up. Perhaps it is old age. Perhaps it was the valium I took to try to adjust to the new time zone. I was in Amsterdam and I don't sleep much here and I go to too many coffee shops. Perhaps it was the boy who knocked on my hotel at 4am in the morning I had met on the Internet. I am off to Brazil now and I'll then be able to sleep it all offf and get adjusted to a new zone for a longer period of time. Please accept my apologies for the mistake and the bitchiness. -
Keeing in Touch with your BF when out of Thailand

I have been beaten up in the past for using the term "Boy Special". I guess I do prefer that to boyfriend and I use that on this board from time to time. Thais use the term boyfriend when referring to a farang taking care of them. I have heard one Thai use the term "my darling." I like that also., When in Thailand, I use the term boyfriend as that is what they use for me. Since you only know me from watching me in Sunee and Big C you really have no idea of how I treat someone who is with me long term so you will never be able to define what kind of relationship I have with one or more guys. I have had 3 boyfriends in Thailand that were left money and bank accounts should I come to an unfortunate demise. I am sure you have done the same for your boyfriend. I have also made sure my guys go to school and get an education. Some I have even set up in businesses. Your view of what a boyfriend is and mine may not be the same. And, frankly, since you don't care for me and I really don't care for your smug comments, I don't really give a fuck what you say with any post I make. Your postings are often more negative than they are informative. I hope you are much more nice to the "boyfriend" you are supporting. -
Works for me. A contest is a contest. Who cares if he is gay or straight? If a straight guy wants to enter a gay contest, go for it and vice versa. It does not bother me a bit. Although all my Brazilian friends say that a man who only fucks other men and doesn't get fucked is not gay. Many Thais have similar ways to define what is gay or not with them. I have a boyfriend who is not gay as he only likes ladyboys. His defination is fine for me. In my mind, both he and Monty are really Mr. Gay Pattaya. They personify what we all should be, instead of the bitchy nasty queens we are most of the time. Don't you just love those Hetro Thai guys as they are laying in your bed?

So true. Thanks for taking the bait. I am glad that your post early said you were finished with this but you keep coming back for more. Just can't resist can you? I guess the monkier gonefishing can't resist a bit of bait now and again. Anyway, this is childish going back and forth. I'll just say, "I'm right and your wrong., na ne na ne boo boo."

Today I used the airport for leaving Thailand. I found it beautiful and spacy. I found the walk from the immigration to the gates for departure a LONG haul. I am not sure why they make you walk through all those shops. They even had shops I love. Since I was early, I had to look inside. Then, I spent all my money. Don't they know that people leaving Thailand don't have a lot of excess cash and to put nice stores there is like feeding an addiction? Anyway, the walk was hell. The boarding was fast and reliable. They did not allow for any liquids and even took my chap stick. I had a bottle of perfume and they wanted to take it too but I sprayed it on me and showed them how good it smelled and they let me keep it. Nice. All my bags were together and made it on the plane and everything was very smooth for me.

Again your defination of a bf. I much prefer e-mails and IM and text to phone calls. To each his own. Some of you don't get that because people don't agree with your view, don't have the same or better relationship. Enjoy your phone calls. I'll enjoy my texts and e-mails. -
Hold. Don't let out until till you feel the niceness set it. When I return to Thailand, I'll take you if you are interested. However, an event like that might be over the top for you.

We all can be wrong on occassion. Just because the ones who race for money don't show up at Pattaya Bike Week doesn't mean they aren't willing to show up for some hard cash. I stand by my numbers. I didn't give the frequency but I am told twice per month. I've been there. I've seen it. I watched. It simply does happen.

Perhaps my eyes deceived me. I was once told believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see. I am getting old so I'll go have my eyes checked. Having one BF who has a high powered modified bike and going with him in the past, I think that perhaps he was just lying to me and called out all of his friends to play mind games with me. Worst things have happened.

I have been eating breakfast at a very popular breakfast place in Jomptien for 8 months. I love the food there and usually only get the same 3 or 4 dishes. I am friendly with the waiters and always leave a tip. The owner is normally there in the AM and I say hello to him although I don

GoneFishing wrote in another thread that often the boys don't have the option not to go with a customer. I am wondering if that is something that many have experienced. I have never had a boy say no to me. However, I have talked to many boys who refuse to go with clients who are other ethnicities, or have a bad reputation or a number of other reasons. I have been told by the boys I asked and they all said it was "up to boy." I do hope this is the case but do others know of bars that don't allow it to be "up to boy."

I like to get in touch with my BF about once a week to make sure all is ok and they are doing well. For the ones that have internet access easy I prefer that. I also like IM. Most Thais I know have MSN or Yahoo. But, all Thai boys have a cell phone. I find that there are many programs that work with the computer to send SMS anywhere I am at. I use one program for the Mac. It sends up to 160 characters per message and when someone replies, I can choose either the cell phone of the country I am in or a response to an e-mail. I know there are many programs out there but I really like: http://www.smsmac.com Any other suggestions on how to keep in touch?

I heard many making plans yesterday to be somewhere. I wish I were going to be in town as I know where the best dinner in Pattaya will be and it ain't at a business, it is in a condo with one of the best cooks in Pattaya.

Personally, I would love one of that wall spaces.

This great event was held 2 nights ago in Soi Sunee. A live band with dancers and tons of food. The place was packed and you could hear the music for blocks. I spoke to several bar owners and they all said that they were packed all night with the street traffic the party brought in. Perhaps LouLou needs to have a Birthday every week. I have one ladyboy on Soi 6 that calls me about every 2-3 months and tells me it is her birthday so perhaps LouLou could do the same?

Often in Banglamung on the weekends, you will find some of the roads closed for motorcycle racing. The guys get out their modified bikes and race to their hearts content. Accidents happen. Often there are over 500 of these modified bikes in attendance. As typical, most of the Thais enjoy a wager and these guys are no exception. You can have a race and bet cold hard cash, pink slips to the bike or your girl. I asked my friend why on earth they would bet their girl and was told that often the ladies liked going with the winner. All in all a strange concept to me but it looks like a bit of Hong Kong racing has made its way to the area.

I was heading home on the motorcycle last night and was on Thepassit Road. I saw a huge outdoor movie screen. They had some motorcycles out there like a drive in but also many huts and what looked like a restaurant severing food on the grounds. A Jackie Chan martial arts film was playing on the screen. It was quiet fun to watch. I stopped on the street a bit to catch a scene and moved on. If I were here for longer, I would go back and check out what the deal is with the place. Anyone else been there or seen it?

my thread is just a light hearted commentary on the lack >of posts here given the large number of professed members of >the site. LOL Well, just remembe that the number of members are those with registered and verified e-mails. I would say the majority never look at this message board? Why do they register? They can't view the larger photos without it. Do you think we will hit 10k before year's end?

Common Courtesy eludes impatient Farang in Go-go-Bar
TotallyOz replied to ChrisUK's topic in Gay Thailand
I know how you feel with this and I agree with your statements. I also know that many boys have regulars that really do pay their bills and they don't want to offend the one or two guys that are being overly generous to them. I have boys in a few bars that I know will go with me no matter who walked into the bar. Why? I have offed them a hundred times over the years and always been very generous and kind. When rent is due, I help., When mama have surgery I help. I don't want the boy as a boyfriend but I do like to spend time on occasion with him and he knows that he had much rather have a easy night with me rather than an unpredictable night with a stranger.
