Odd night in Pattaya's Boyztown
The boys were in jeans at 360 last night. I did not notice this before I ordered. Is this standard there? It could be sexy to some.

Trip Report -- Pattaya From 2/22
I took it easy last night. This may have been mentioned elsewhere, but the boys seem to be waiting until you call them over until they take note of you. A boy I thought was going to completely ignore me practically flew off the stage once summoned. A nice boy; will probably off him tonight. I do not know if this is still high season, but all three of our areas seem to be doing at least okay. PS No ugly cocks noted----I promise to continue my detailed research.

Trip Report -- Pattaya From 2/22
Whatever issues there were with the authorities, were completely smoothed over per what I saw in Boystown last night. An interesting experience with the mamasan at a bar I shall let remain nameless: She pretty much left me in peace until I actually asked about a particular boy. He came over, I bought him a drink, and she plopped herself on the same couch and literally stared at me from that point forward. Had I not been enamored of the young man, I would have left. I just wanted to get to know him. I think he was nervous too as his English got much better back in my room. The show at this bar was the most explicit I have seen in Pattaya since 1986. The young man was good too!!

Trip Report -- Pattaya From 2/22
I am not about to try to match the eloquence of Numazu or a447, but here goes: It took me this long to access a computer because my prior internet cafe was closed (as apparently most of them are these days). In short Jomtien Plaza and Boystown are, in the words of our British friends, doing a roaring trade and Sunee seems to be doing at least okay. First night I promised myself to only look---well, I offed the second boy I talked to in Jomtien. He was well worth it. Second night offed a guy from Double Shot. He was good and I enjoyed the bar---the owner even bought a round for everyone including the boys. Most would say that my first two offs were boys of average Thai build. By my usual standards they were sumo wrestlers. I do not know what has gotten into me. Power Boys and Eros OK. Winner Boys good and quite busy. Toy Boys OK. Have not been to BBB yet nor seen any "shows". No luck on the apps with my type. One guy I did like insisted on bringing a friend along for a four-hand, even to the point of cutting the price. I was a little leery of two completely strange boys in my room so I took a pass. Cambodians aplenty---if I go to Siem Reap, I might take one with me. I have not yet met a Vietnamese boy.

Bangkok/Yangon/Bagan/Mandalay Trip Report: Playing With Fire
Numazu, I completely forgot about wearing black for the mourning period. Are foreigners still doing it? Should I bring a couple of black tee shirts?

Bangkok/Yangon/Bagan/Mandalay Trip Report: Playing With Fire
Is that you wearing the "Pattaya" shorts at the right edge of one of the photos? I also noticed the bright colors at the picture of the Great Pagoda. I envisioned Burmese as rather drab dressers.

Bangkok/Yangon/Bagan/Mandalay Trip Report: Playing With Fire
There is a Numazu, Japan, not terribly far from Tokyo. Any connections with you? Just curious.... Keep up the good reports.

President Donald Trump
[i was trying to respond to the poster who accused Gore of stupidity by losing Tennessee] Horsehockey. The state had been swinging away from the Democrats ever President Johnson signed the civil rights bill. Gore was simply a victim of the times. I grew up there.

I only paid attention to the Prakanong alias.

Gaybuttonthai becomes Gaybutton U.S. Election
I really hope that Hillary can get her justices approved without the nuclear option. You have to remember that the GOP refused to act on Bill Clinton's nominees for lower courts, thus the Dems used the nuclear options. At the time, they stated that they did not want to do this for the Supreme Court...we shall see.

Gaybuttonthai becomes Gaybutton U.S. Election
It is all about the Supreme Court. Neither party will have 60 votes in the senate, so nothing major is going to take place. It is going to be very interesting if we lose any more Justices. The GOP will not confirm anyone Hillary nominates. The present nominee is as conservative as they are going to get and they made up the "final year" bullshit to not take action on this guy.

A song that reminds you of gay Thailand.
It may seem silly to the younger members, but Agadoo.... (For some reason I can not post the link)

RACISM - Shocking Article
Don't laugh---there are a couple of Mexican-Americans who have a plausible shot at being president or vice-president in the next eight years or so. They are twin brothers, interestingly enough.

I would certainly not carry my passport around during Songkran week.

Do you wish the best for Thailand?
My guess is that in Thailand most people have rural relatives they can stay with if everything goes off the rails for them. You can also build a shabby house in Thailand and at least be dry in the rain. There are whole towns in the US where you can not build a modest home on a small lot--aka Snob Zoning.

Early Retirement
I will be sixty this weekend. I can retire at 62 and at this point, I am almost sure that I will. My car will have about 90,000 miles on it---should be able to hold onto it. My mortgage, if I keep my house, that will be about $700/month-I bought a house that I could afford. I do not know if I will retire in Pattaya, but I can certainly spend about three six week visits there per year.
