Good service from The limo Pattaya again this week.☺

I've never had anything but great service from them. Sure, it costs a bit more than some options but it's a whole lot less than some others and is so convenient after 24 hours travelling.

Returning to Bangkok on the 4th, taxis were mostly unavailable. But I did get lucky with Cherry taxi. They quoted 1800 to my hotel, and the driver was right on time. I had paid extra for a larger car. It soon became apparent that he thought we were going to the airport. I corrected that. The hotel was much further but he did not ask for more, but I know that it is 500 from airport to hotel, so I gave him 2000. He seemed reluctant to take the tip!

Mr Toom's knackered taxis with whining axles used to be 1000 baht and the lovely quiet Camry from The Limo Pattaya is 1200 baht.   Mr Toom's drivers have contrived to have separate stops for fuel and a pee on the way to the airport.  The Limo Pattaya go straight there, as I would expect for a short journey.

 

Since I start my trips in Bangkok, the only taxi I take is usually from Pattaya to BKK & missing the flight would be expensive. I'm happy to pay the extra 200 baht to travel in a car made in this century.

How far in advance do you book ?

I made my booking 3 days in advance for the 3rd.    Considering your experience, I might just continue planning in advance.

you guys have nerve of steel, I would not take a chances and my preference were to spent last night in BKK or at least somewhere close to the airport. Thailand has zillion of advantages but not safe roads unfortunately.

 

Car made in this century by the way can be already 17 years old, when all this time went?
