Hey guys I'm 23 from Singapore currently staying in Bangkok for a few month already . Anyone know of any host bar that I can work as ? Please let me know as I've no income for the past few month so it a bit suffering here

Assuming your question is genuine, if you are here on a tourist visa, working in whichever form would break the law. Apart from that, try the host bars in Soi Twilight. Don't get involved in any physical work (serving drinks etc.), as a Singaporean, you would have good chances claiming you are a customer.

Tourist visa is only good for 30 days, how were you able to stay for 3 months?

Most foreigners just do visa runs every 30 days.

Tourist visa for Germans is 60 days, can be extended by 30 days at immigration for 1900 Baht. Visa free entry is 30 days for Germans. For Singaporeans, different durations for tourist visa and visa free entry might apply.

You are only 23 and there's a lot of job opportunities here  in Singapore. Why would you want to work as a host in Thailand? I could only think of it as a "pure narcissistic" wish to parade and be off.  The shelf-life is pretty short and unless there is no other options, why risk your life there?  

 

Remember unless you are drop-dead gorgeous and have skills that are unbeatable, competition is rife there.  Boys are younger, cuter and "fresher" and it would be very risky with the authorities.  You certainly don't wish to end up in Bangkok's infamous  "Hilton" for working illegally.... 

 

By the way, have you overstayed?

A boy from a rich country does not mean he is rich. Is United States considered a rich country? However, there are alot of homeless and beggars too in the U.S.

 

Since the op is 23yo, maybe he has a high sex drive that is not easily satisfied in Singapore. Thus, he is seeking the alternative in Thailand :-) ? Besides, he did mention that he also run out of money. Therefore, it is one stone killing two birds :-) ?

Many non Thai guys/boys work on gayromeo and other similar sites. Plenty of Africans and sometimes young

Russians looking to make some money. Certainly, less risky than working illegally in a boybar and with English

skills, a young Singaporian should make a good amount of baht.

Some Vietnamese boys work in boybars but don't go with customers. Lots of boys from Cambodia, Laos and

Myanmar can be found in Jomtien complex but they can and do get rounded up by the authorities occasionally.

 

And, many Thai boys go to Singapore and can make more money there than in Thailand. Assume it's all on the

Internet.

There are many Vietnamese boys working in boy bars that do go with customers.

If I were you, I would fly to Europe and overstay there instead. And here's why:

 

Firstly, you can expect a much higher income in your line of work.

 

Secondly, police won't bother to check your ID, as you neither look African nor Middle Eastern. They will be busy dealing with that lot for years to come.

 

Thirdly, if caught nevertheless, you can delay your deportation to Singapore, and your flight back home will be paid for by your "host" country. It doesn't work that way in Thailand. If your problem in Singapore is serious, assault a police officer or prison guard while being held pending deportation, this will delay your return by a few more years. Do your homework, choose a country with cozy prisons (Norway? The Netherlands? Sweden?).

 

 

More money and less hassle and a first world lifestyle like in Singapore. Filipinas are known to overstay for decades and send vast amounts of money back home.

Hey Alex thanks for that . The reason I stay in Thailand because I've been here quite a few time and had some friends over here . If you asked me go to Europe I don't even know how to start and where to go even who to approach .

Lol..u want to serve women only..im afraid you cant have even 1 meal per day..lol..in thailand,most of the boy choose to work at gay bar even they are tottaly straight..because the marketing in gay line is more bigger..

Ha ha, TS is really manipulating us... he first gives us the idea that he's gay and now, he wants to be paid for having sexual favours with women!  This is totally SALAH (Malay slang for something horribly wrong).  Yes, there may be willing females who are willing to pay for such services but a quick look at the gay bars, you can tell the women prefer straight males working there.  

 

Who would pay attention to you.. unless (I say again) you are drop-dead gorgeous, have a decent body (with an unsatisfying appetite for sex) and proper mannerisms.  If you tick on all the above aspects, welcome to the world of free-lancing.  You are your own boss!  Stop this foolish idea immediately!
