Poppers in Pattaya

Featured Replies

A friend has asked me and I do not have the slightest idea ... never been there, never done that .... does anybody know where to buy poppers in Pattaya.  Thanks.

Just one question ...

Why do you need poppers aka chemical fun when the availability of  hot Thai boys is abundant

I second this quesiton!  :good:

Nonetheless they are sold on the gay beach by a vendor walking up and down. Do not do poppers and Viagra etc together as a risk of heart attack.

It may be the hot Thai boy likes the poppers, especially if the farang is paying for them.

Not seen the popper seller on the beach during my last two trips to Pattaya but maybe I was asleep when he passed. I remember he used to cup the bottle in his hand only showing it to potential customers. Maybe poppers are illegal in LOS. When I first discovered Pats fifteen years ago I took poppers with me but over the following years I lost interest and have not used them for some time.

Ask a Thai boy it isn't like they are hard to find.

Right poppers are illegal in Thailand.

Mind you I rather think the number of convictions will be very low. Watching local tv in Pats featuring all the arrests of farangs by the boys in brown, I never remember seeing anyone appear for using or selling poppers. Although I suppose being shopped by your boyfriend du jour or the room maid is a possible risk.

You're probably right.  Nevertheless, when deciding whether or not it's worth the risk to break a law when visiting a foreign country, at least base the decision on facts, not erroneous information, especially when it comes to controlled substances.

Condoms / Lube / Poppers

Condoms and lube are widely available, although the best advice is to bring your own.

Poppers are illegal in Thailand.

Porno is also illegal in Thailand. But you still able to buy it. With poppers the same situation as I know... may be a little bit complicated more, but as I know your (not exactly your, it is just generalization) Thai friend can easy to buy it almost at any farmacy around "red light districts"

I'd check Grindr to look for industrious boys/men who sell these things, though with a caveat.

A year and a half ago in Bangkok I was having one of those sex-crazed series of days with this free Viet boy I found on Grindr. He was an insatiable bottom and after Day 2 of our sex marathon he asked me to buy him poppers. Since I had no need for such a thing in the past, I didn't know where to get it in Bangkok. I looked at Grindr and there was a guy there who sold viagra, kamagra gel, and yes, poppers.

I sent him a message and with just a few sentences of back and forth he added me on Line. He sent me this photo of the merchandise and assured me it wasn't fake:

We decided to meet in front of Foodland Patpong at 2 PM that day. He quoted 1000 baht for 10 mL and 1600 baht for 30 mL. I agreed to the 10 mL. He was there on time and the whole transaction was over in 10 seconds. (I had to check my Line messages to see what exactly was the agreed to price. Seeing this now, I feel that this was super overpriced. But at that time I was super horny and eager to please, so whatevs.)

Viet boy tried it and he seemed to enjoy sniffing the bottle. After an hour of fun he commented that the poppers might be fake because he had a slight headache from using it. I thought to myself: isn't that one of the side effects of using poppers? He still kept using it and seemed to enjoy it though. Who knows if it was fake or not.

I thought about buying him poppers in the US before I returned to meet him again a few months later. But I decided against it because indeed it is illegal in Thailand and the last thing I want is to be caught importing an illegal substance.

IHe sent me this photo of the merchandise and assured me it wasn't fake:

The substance in poppers (butyl/amyl/pentyl nitrite) is cheap, so there is no reason to fake poppers (unless you don't have access and have to dilute it). The problem is rather that it decomposes at room temperature and should be stored in a fridge, or for longer storage freezer. I once met a boy in a sauna who was sniffing on a bottle, but it was completely decomposed, all I could smell was fusel oil (decomposition product of poppers, and found in cheap spirits and causes hangover), disgusting.

Nobody ever quoted which law outlaws poppers in Thailand.

Poppers, pornography, prostitution: all forbidden, but widely available and users and providers not prosecuted?
