I am planning my first trip to Malaysia in April and am looking for recommendations of where to stay and massage places to visit.

 

For privacy, I am currently thinking of booking an airbnb apartment.  Which area do you think is close to the actions :-) ?

Since this is your first trip, id assume youll have the usual touristy stuff to do as well. In that case, id suggest you to stay anywhere near bukit bintang area. Another area to consider is near kl central station. On the massage center, most of them are scattered around KL, 2 of them in bukit bintang, 2 in cheras, 2 in taman desa, 1 in kl sentral etc. u get the idea. For details, utopia and travelgayasia is a great resource. Some of the massage center have websites with pictures that u can choose from but as always, photoshop or old pictures is normal.
