Quick question: Cruising internet shop/cafe

Featured Replies

Do you know any internet café (or internet shop or whatever they're called) where we can cruise(and hookup?  (in BKK or Pattaya). Iread Christian's blog and found a place named Seed (in Bangkok) but not sure if it still works for now?

I thought such cafes were more or less obsolete, left behind by advancing technology. Your average bar boy will buy himself a smartphone as soon has he raises a few thousand baht..

z909: maybe you are not a fan of games online :D:D:D

there are still few in operation, I know one on Silom and at least 3 in Pattaya but did not notice any cruising in any of them.

I use internet cafes because I hate typing on the screen but you are right,  they seem to be less and less busy every trip.

BKK still has heaps of those places (mostly called shops), but not so much in the touristy areas.

F.e. RamKamHaeng-where the largest uni has, still has sois full of them- going rate there is 10 bt/hr. Some even offer flat-rate for overnight for 50 or 60 bt.

What der christian has clearly described is, that even those having more on offer wont be recognisable as such- the ground floor looks like an ord. such shop, but there may be more upstairs or behind, those wanting that know a kind of password for it. I know of several that have other extra interest-gambling (as such striclt forbidden in TH).

But Iám afraid I DK about current such places offering more in the field of our common interest-If anyone knows its again/must be still der christian.

Damn right I don't play games online. What a waste of time. I'll waste my time here instead....

However, you may well be right in assuming such wasteful pastimes like gaming might sustain a few shops. I just don't see many around, not like compared with 10 years ago.

As for the spycam videos, well I have seen them, but surely these are not produced in some high street internet cafe ? A certain amount of privacy is in order.

Oh,i did not intend to offend you nor to get in discussion whether game online wastes time. I just wanted to say internet shops are still there.

Back to the topic, I had visited Seed few weeks after Christian mentioned it in his blog and i loved it. I also visited two such places in Saigon (Vietnam) and two in Manila (they're all in Quezon city). Locals came there for sex so they did not care of facilities nor whether they had highspeed cable. Same like suck cinemas that still open now, their selling points is aircon dark rooms in daylight time which give them a better place to cruise than mall's toilets. For expat, that's also a place to meet locals and have fun while waiting other saunas to open.

Last year, Christian updated Seed had closed and i have heard nothing of such places till now.

Seed in Ramkhamhaeng was gay sauna with several internet cubicles, which set it apart from all the other gay saunas. Sadly, it is not more. I don't know of any other such place.

There are still plenty of internet cafes in Thailand (Bangkok and provinces), and I often spot cute boys when I walk past. Looking at the screens all I can see is facebook, youtube and online games.

Sad for no more such places like Seed. I missed those days of it.
