From a friend in HCMC who works as a MB on the apps (with frequent trips to Hongkong, SG, Malaysia etc) I got a rather difficult Q yesterday.

The guy announced that he will make a trip to Sydney next month and upon my question confirmed that he will try to make some money as MB there (freelance/on the apps). Most likely he will be there for a couple of weeks (based on his earlier travel patterns). He question to me was - how much to charge for "services" in Sydney? (I believe he meant short time - either in his hotel room or outcall). As I have absolutely no experience with MB rates in Australia I need to pass on the Q in there: anyone able to shed some lights on this?

For your information I estimate him to be around 26-28y (admittedly I never asked him about age) with a firm muscle body. In particular his chest muscles stand out but he is not shredded/sixpack - anything else than a twink. He is gay but straight acting/amanly and top only with a nice large c*ck (certainly bigger than the average asian size). I wouldn't call him handsome (but not unattractive either). Height: around 175cm.

Thanks, I should have thought about rentmen and Hunqz. My only concern is if the asking prices in rentment, huntz reflect actual price levels? It is my experience that the asking rates of rentmen, hungz etc gúys are heavily inflated and often the guys will settle for far less. Obviously, this doesn't apply to rentmen guys only (e.g. in Vietnam, this guy and many other guys on the apps will ask for USD 100 from foreigners but settle for around 50% or less). However, I have also come across some guys telling me that they have sufficient customers and are not prepared to budge - recent experience was Cape Town where many blk online guys refused to budge. 

Admittedly, without any knowledge about price levels in Sydney, asking for AUS 200 for fun seem a bit steep?

I heard a customer is paying 20,000 baht overnight for a Moonlight model.

This is the highest rate I have heard for BKK gogo boy.

for somebody prepared to pay 1500 Aud  this is still half price, LOL

and there's always question if such a price was paid because  boy requested it or customer lost his head ?

I guess it' s no different than paying 4000 $ for business class when economy is arriving at exactly the same time for 800 $ or forking out 1500 baht for dinner when somewhere else it can be had for 350.

Sometimes we don't know options, sometimes we decide to treat ourselves and sometimes what  sounds excessive  for one seems reasonable for other and again people are losing heads

/ and shirts  / just to impress others, all those money garlands at Jupiter and elsewhere are testimony to it.

 

 

Some people (not me) has too much money that they cant even spend through all of it in their lifetime, so sharing it with the boy that make their life happier doesnt seems so bad hehe.

Thailand is full of very rich men and women who go to extraordinary lengths to develop relationships with the gals and boys of their dreams. Many married men (hiso and others) keep second wives and mistresses. They buy them apartments, give them fancy cars, dress allowances and goodness knows what else. Same with the boys. I know of one producer in the entertainment business. He is married with kids but showers his young proteges with the same level of favours. They may never achieve stardom but they keep their patron happy. Its a very different world from the one we inhabit!

If was a millionaire I would do the same. 

And then thankfully to balance such silly extremes out ..... we have Christian being up the rear - quite literally  !!  Lol

My thoughts exactly.    Actually AUD 200 is about GBP107 which is comparable with London pricing.   However, London prices are higher than many other European capitals AND most of those Aussie ads show AUD 250~350, with AUD 300 being typical.   That seems high.

It would be interesting to know what really happens.   Are the prices frequently negotiated down, do they rarely get a customer OR are they raking money in at a very fast rate ?

I would think there is plenty of opportunity for your Vietnamese friend to put up an ad about 1~2 weeks before arrival and gauge the level of interest.   He can always drop the price if there are not many enquiries.     He also needs to realize that whatever app he uses in his current location might not be the best in another country.

 Whilst working hard is a good start, it probably needs to be combined with working smart, saving effectively and properly investing the money saved.

Incidentally, a millionaire is not really rich enough to seriously splash money around.   If you have USD 1million to live off, then that should give an income of about $40,000 per year,  based on safe withdrawal rates and a sensible asset allocation.    If that's your sole income, it's not really enough to keep toy boys in the lap of luxury.

Get to $5 million+ and as long as your annual spend is less than 4%, then why not splash out on whoever takes your fancy ?

Back in 2001, there were multiple clients of NYC escorts who would fly the guys to Dubai, France, Italy and Hong Kong. The rate was 2200 USD per day plus business class airfare.  One guy paid 2200 per day in Dubai for one hour per day and happily kept the guy for 6 months. 

Well, I can tell you, AUD $250-$300 is for model looking guys ($300 would be an outcall rate, unless you are Porn star in which case the rate may go even higher). 

Usually the normal rate for Asian is around $150 for 60 minutes and $200 for 90, but since Sydney is so expensive, if I were to guess, guys who are offering in-calls they will do more at this price, if you ask them to visit your place then $50 is usually the taxi rate (two ways) so that can be quite expensive. But assuming people who opt for it, need desecrate service and would most probably be willing to pay any where between $200 to $250 or in some cases more.

Not sure though, who would be generous (stupid) enough to hire someone for a night at $1,500 but guess there is always someone there with loads of money and hence the price.

generous, stupid or just horny on a mission to realize long nursed dream.

Sometimes it's better to spend 1500 and feel stupid than not to spend and feel even more stupid because dream guy disappears from the scene for good.

Fortunately never a case with boys  but in my travels I learned long ago if I want to see something or buy something to do it because next time  place may be closed or burned down or item sold to some other overspender.

Cool. Though 2 customers would be an average though, as I know a guy who claimed to have 5-6 customers over the weekends, although less over the weekdays.

Yeah, I suppose we are talking on average. I suppose in that trade there can be good and less good days.
