Karex Bhd makes one in every five condoms used globally. It has not produced a single condom from its three Malaysian factories in the past 10 days because of the lockdown imposed by the government to halt the spread of the virus. That’s already a shortfall of 100 million condoms, normally marketed internationally by brands such as Durex, supplied to state healthcare systems such as Britain’s National Health Service or distributed by aid programmes including the UN Population Fund. March 28, 20206 yr I dont even know we produced 1/5 of world supply of condom in malaysia lol. I hope due to lockdown, demand for condom will also goes down. I mean, u cant go out whoring anyway lol. So the use might be limited to contraception.
