March 9, 201214 yr Hopefully the restocking fees aren't too bad. Did you consider an all-in-one desktop? Some have nice big screens and they're a lot more portable than the traditional desktop. 27" even! Thanks JK that is actually what I bought a all in one.
March 9, 201214 yr Active Members All-in-ones tend to use laptop-sized hard drives, while they don't have the shock/drop dangers they are still a little more failure prone... so it's still a good idea to be sure you have a current backup! Did you go with one with touchscreen snazzyness? Do you ever use that feature?

Did you go with one with touchscreen snazzyness? Do you ever use that feature? Yes I did get the touchscreen but only because it was what they had in stock ... I played with it for a bit. But I do not see myself using it very often if at all. Its kind of awkward to reach across the desk to touch the display in a useful way other than a few gestures. It is pretty responsive though. Also I bought a Dell not the HP you noted above. And you're right its pretty simple to move to anywhere there is a power source.
