It's hard for straight people too... I have been seeking a monogamous relationship but none of them worked out so far... Thought of marrying a woman but my past hiring record was reported to her by her private investigators so we broke off. I always wonder whether I could stay faithful if it fell through. I have a friend whom I believe with certainty has been faithful to his partner of at least 10 years. I don't doubt there are others.

I do think it is easier for some people than others, and I think it is easier in some locations and social circles than others (different opportunities and different attitudes)..

Do you think that men in general think of sex so casually that they separate the act of sex from a relationship? Is that why there are many "open relationships"?
