I have contacted some escorts through gayromeo but they all quoted a price between 150 to 200e, which is even more expensive than most cities in Europe. September 4, 201412 yr Hi, I’m a long-time lurker who’s been fired up by recent threads to think about a return visit to Prague. My last visit was in 1999, mostly for culture. Although I got enough “free” sex in the saunas (and a sex club even further out of the centre than Drakes), curiosity took me to Pinocchio’s. The result was a rather mediocre experience with a gay-for-pay boy: nice enough, but “minimalist” in terms of what he’d do. Because of this I’m rather doubtful about Escape/Temple and was thinking of using gayromeo which has “worked” for me in other cities. Reading young11’s experience I’m wondering if it’s a downside of Prague’s status as a gay porn capital. I’ve been monitoring Prague on gayromeo and noticed there’s a large number of “porn stars”. Any guy using a known porn actor’s name or photo would be brazenly trying to “fake in plain sight”. Very few of these guys state their rates on their gayromeo profile. The rates quoted to young11 seem high – in fact are high: 200 euros (£160) is high for London, a city notorious for a high cost of living. I wonder if there’s some kind of attempt to get a “pornstar premium” so it was reassuring to read numerito’s contribution that a sweet young porn actor like Xander Hollis is more reasonable. I’ve also noticed that some of these Czech porn stars “commute” between Zurich and Prague. Perhaps, on returning to Prague, they just convert the Swiss Franc rate into euros, forgetting that the local economy in Prague is very different from Zurich: 150 euros is more than the average even for a capital city like Vienna. It is known that online rates in Barcelona and Madrid are different from what the same guys will accept in the Thermas and Adan saunas. Pauleiro and others may know whether some of these Prague escorts appear at Temple and Escape and have different rates there from their online rates. But I still get excited about going to Barcelona because it is also a fun city when I am not hiring. And the quality of guys there is just so good. When I even hear the word Barcelona, I get hard lol

A few months after seeing him on gayromeo, I spotted him going upstairs in the Paragonya Sauna in Zurich. I made the fatal mistake of waiting 10 seconds. By the time I'd got upstairs he'd disappeared, presumably grabbed and then "devoured" by one of the Swiss guys lying in wait at the top of the stairs. Didn't see him again. Maybe they don't really want the customers in Prague because they get higher price in Zurich but I am pretty sure that is a costly move as well. Maybe they can get more customers in Zurich, so overall it is more profitable than charging less but it is just a lot of maybes, so who knows. I haven't met with anyone here this time, so cannot answer if Carl Ross is real or not. If it was a different city, I would not even contact him but many guys here have professional photos like him, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was real...

I assume they think that, since they are not getting many clients, it is better to charge a high price to make ends meet with fewer guys. Zurich does seem to be a magnet. I have no idea if the trip is really worth it, but I think they have found a niche. There might be more wealthy Swiss bankers or filthy rich Middle Eastern princes willing to pay their rates (even though the Swiss have a "thrifty" reputation), than they can find in Prague. Just a thought.

Surprisingly, or not surprisingly, most escorts ask for 100e or 2000-3000CZK. I found it reasonable, maybe because I heard 200-300e rates often here lol.
