November 18, 20187 yr Active Members I’m going to Guadalajara in 4 days and now I’m wondering if it’s safe with all the migrant caravan going through. I might just stay longer in Puerto Vallarta. Btw, where can I get yellow fever and malaria vaccine in puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara? Thx!
November 18, 20187 yr Active Members Guadalajara is one of the safest and american cities in Mexico. Don't worry! There are a lot of USA students studying Medicine at a local university. They live in the Providencia district. In Guadalajara there are some pediatricians near the Hospital del Carmen (Providencia neighborhood) that have all the vaccines. You can also ask at the USA embassy in Guadalajara. Good luck and enjoy your stay in Guadalajara!

November 18, 20187 yr Active Members I heard that if you accidentally swallow the tequila worm it viloently hatches out of your belly button and relentlessly wreaks havoc everywhere. (Sorry ... couldn't resist). Exhausted and hungry diaspora is not likely going to zombify you. Maybe try to volunteer at an emergency Red Cross hydration station.
