November 27, 20187 yr According to Pokemon Go I walk roughly 5.4 km a day. Is that a little? Is that a lot? How much do you guys walk a day?
November 28, 20187 yr 3-5 miles. Heart health! Also, finally at last, some decent posture from core strength. And -- best of all -- OUTDOORS! Every kind of physical mental psychological advantage over indoor gym stuff. Which I would sign on for, then never go to.

That is quite a lot especially in the US where everyone uses the car so much. I walk that much too, but I have a lot of walking as part of my daily commute.
November 29, 20187 yr Author I live in a city and don't own a car so it's just natural for me to walk that much.
November 30, 20187 yr Active Members I try to get 10,000 steps a day, which is roughly five miles a day, and is hard to do in suburbia. I remember taking a cruise and easily getting 15,000 - 20,000 steps a day just getting from one part of the ship to another.
December 1, 20187 yr Active Members 8000 to 10000 onmost days. Sometimes up to 15-20K if I’m walking around a lot or feeling energetic.
December 2, 20187 yr Active Members Love to get 10,000 steps in. I also run a few times a week and try for a 5k or more once a month, where I generally finish in th ectopic fifth. Hike, road and mountain bike, and do x-fit. Lifting is actually superior to running, but combined is even better. Keep up the activities, gentlemen! Your providers will also appreciate it.

December 3, 20187 yr Active Members I was doing 10K steps a day for many months.... it really does make you feel better. I've fallen off lately, but I've been lifting. Time to get back to the steps, though.

You do not need to download any other apps.
December 3, 20187 yr Due to arthritic joints age 59 the doc said do NOT RUN but just walk aerobically and you will get the same benefits.
December 3, 20187 yr Author Yeah. My left leg f ucked up about three years ago and I'm told I can walk or swim but not to run.
December 4, 20187 yr Active Members My aim is 10,000 steps a day as well. Often more between 6,000-7,000. I'm amazed at much territory I cover just doing yard work! Kipp

Instead I just start out each afternoon, see how the body feels, then push it to do a little more each day. Holistic (essentially Eastern) rather than Western quantified.
