May 4, 20197 yr Active Members This does not reflect how the government of Thailand has made it more difficult foreigners to get what is commonly referred to as a retirement visa which is valid for one year. They talked the cowardly us embassy and others into no longer granting income affidavits. Now we must have 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank and this is an onerous effort for many. Also, treatment at Thai immigration can be shoddy and inconsistent. Thailand is no longer a great retirement spot. Edited May 4, 20197 yr by kjun12
May 6, 20197 yr Active Members Last time I was in Thailand, I could not get on many porn sites. If my memory serves me well, this boytoy forum was blocked too, probably filtered by government and/or private internet providers. Thais have "high" moral standards. Edited May 6, 20197 yr by Walker
May 6, 20197 yr I’ve never had any issue getting into any porn or gay sites in Thailand. I go into Boytoy and GayGuides sites every day. Sometimes the govt threatens to sensor social media, but so far they haven’t.
