I've never been a fan of Jeff Zucker, so when he took over at CNN, I knew my days of watching were numbered. I do realize, especially in the days of the Trump era, it is VERY hard to find a reasonable, thoughtful, intelligent conservative to participate in non-partisan discussion. Rick Santorum, the asshole political hack and failed senator, lasted longer than most others. Too many of these egotistical, so-called-conservative talking heads just don't get it. They can no longer use the words "principles and values" and expect anyone to take them seriously. If you support Trump, you have no principles and values. Go fuck yourself and keep your fucking mouth shut. I'm very happy CNN canned this asshole hypocrite. Now if only ABC had the balls to can pompous fat-ass Chris Christie.

I will always remember his argument that you can't call gay marriage "marriage", because that would be like saying a paper towel and a napkin are the same thing, when you can clearly see they are not. May 25, 20215 yr Actually, I'm glad CNN did it, but I wish they did it quietly, with no announcement at all. Why? Because the Trump supporter brigade hates CNN to the point that they now are likely to give their full support to Santorum. I believe CNN's intent stands a good chance of backfiring. Don't be surprised if Santorum will now be the hero of Fox News and the like, and sympathetic to him because poor Rick is CNN's victim.

The Trump brigade (the biggest, racist assholes on the face of the earth) demands total loyalty and fealty to their dear leader. While not quite Mitt Romney, Santorum has been critical of Trump, which is why he lasted at CNN for so long. He is not considered a favorite of Trump's base. IMO, the only reason he had the CNN job: ego and hubris. What else was he supposed to do to make money for his family?
