May 20, 20224 yr Following an interesting topic regarding eating in Bangkok, may I suggest an up-to-date review of what's available and recommended in Pattaya now?
May 20, 20224 yr Two of my favourites: Robin Hood. Upstairs at The Avenue shopping centre. Maybe avoid on Sundays as it is full of people having the Sunday Lunch. (All day). Very good. https://www.facebook.com/Therobinhoodpattaya/ Natans in Jomtien. On the left as you go down towards the beach. Excellent. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g293919-d1500638-Reviews-Natan_s-Pattaya_Chonburi_Province.html
May 20, 20224 yr Tarka House next to The Classrooms is rather good. https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&tbs=lf:1,lf_ui:9&tbm=lcl&sxsrf=ALiCzsZe9JL4sH2dYuG2SarYyl6HxWuC7w:1653072904701&q=pattaya+vegetarian+restaurant&rflfq=1&num=10&rldimm=12416536847502342096#rlfi=hd:;si:13935592546920065580;mv:[[12.930942929163423,100.8821474093938],[12.925113218509042,100.87066755481005],null,[12.928028090855852,100.87640748210192],18] My favourite is a Vegetarian restaurant up near the northern bus station. https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&tbs=lf:1,lf_ui:9&tbm=lcl&sxsrf=ALiCzsZe9JL4sH2dYuG2SarYyl6HxWuC7w:1653072904701&q=pattaya+vegetarian+restaurant&rflfq=1&num=10&rldimm=12416536847502342096#rlfi=hd:;si:16675089820040489153;mv:[[12.945988762483507,100.90535756755905],[12.940159403440388,100.89387771297531],null,[12.943074100000013,100.89961764026718],18] Yupins is popular with some people, but not me. Out of the 100 or so items in the menu, there are no vegetarian dishes. They did offer to do a veggie salad, minus the fish. Except some Anchovy crept in, so they totally botched it. Certain expat restaurants need to better cater for diversity.
May 21, 20224 yr My favourite is Au Bon Coin, off the bottom of Soi 5 Pratumnak. A lovely setting, excellent food and a unique owner.

Yes, a good conclusion to an evening at Sansuk. My singleton-trips to Pattaya invariably ended with a lonely dinner in PIC Kitchen.....the sala with chairs as opposed to the one where you had to sit on the floor. Unusual menu, traditional service reminiscent of the Good Earth in Chiang Mai. Two years ago, I saw a bill-board in Jomtien announcing its re-opening. Did that happen? Now P and enjoy two Thai restaurants in Terminus 21. Sadly, two years of ageing since I was there means that I can't even remember the names.
May 23, 20224 yr Pupen Seafood is probably my favorite restaurant in Jomtien/Pattaya, It's a Thai seafood restaurant with a big menu and a good atmosphere. The restaurant at the Posoiden hotel in Jomtien Complex served some nice German food, but a bit expensive. I'm yet to try Yupins across the soi. Dick's Cafe in the complex is my default dinner option, nothing to write home about but tasty, well priced and friendly staff. Tinnies are my second default when I want western food, I'm Aussie so lots of home comforts to be found on the menu. I'm still searching for a good breakfast menu in the Jomtien area, O Delices was good for coffee and a light breakfast.
May 23, 20224 yr Right now, along with Au Bon Coin, my two favorites are: L'Auberge on Third Road: https://www.facebook.com/LAuberge-916302738496459/ Sands Cafe - of Pratumnak Road at the beach: https://www.facebook.com/SandsCafePattaya
May 23, 20224 yr My absolute favorite is Poseidon restaurant in the Jomtien Complex. Chef Bart from The Netherlands knows how to cook a delicious meal.
