Short trip report for Tokyo and Osaka. Tokyo I tried Chance in Shinjuku-okubo to see a guy I have had my sights set on since I started planning my trip. The Chance reservation system worked well and the meeting point i was given was a small residential alley where i had to call the number provided for him to come out and fetch me. I will say the location wasn't the easiest, I was a little late because i got lost transferring in Shinjuku station then trying to find the right alley. The guy was great, friendly and exactly as pictured (he does porn so i already knew). The condom he had for me didn't fit but i had my own, decent bottom after some initial difficulty. It seems he has since left the store, so I was lucky to have got my top pick just in time. I wish i did a second reservation, I have a feeling he would have been even better the second time after we'd got more accustomed to each other. Next up was DG located in Shinjuku, the location for DG was easier, still i was directed to the meeting spot via email then asked to call the number to be fetched. Easy enough, wait by the address and call for someone to collect me, but if i didn't have international calling on my phone I'd suggest getting there a bit earlier to email and wait. The building I was walked around the corner to was the DG's dedicated shop, and i guess the guy didn't realise i had a reservation because he was about to call the guys in for me to pick. After that was cleared up the guy came in, he was a little different from his pictures but not by much, so not a big problem. He had almost no english, but we didn't need it. I didn't try any other services in Tokyo, I got a few guys from Grindr but catfished more often than not with edited or not accurate pics. The worst was a guy I waited an hour for, then he showed up and I was really regretting my decision. We got in the lift with an airline pilot as I died a little inside and sheepishly walked this creature I just invited back to my room out of the lift. I really should have just left him in the lobby, but i let him blow me then said it's time to leave. Thankfully I had a prescription of DoxyPEP, who knows what that mouth had in it. I wish I had planned my days a bit better and made more reservations with some other services, but now I know for next time. Osaka First night I had a guy from HK come over, he was visiting with family so we had to be quick so he could get back, very eager bottom. The next night I had booked a guy from Imaike, this was a random apartment and another guest was in the second bedroom so it was a bit of him waiting and checking when we can use the bathroom. He was a bit chubbier than his pics and stats, a bit hairy and didn't want to try to bottom. Not terrible but I wouldn't pick him again. Next up I tried out DG's branch in Osaka, my first pick wasn't available but they had other options. My 4th night back to back, I was back at Chance, this time trying out their Osaka store. The guy I met was half Thai, so I gave him a little of my terrible Thai to break the ice, it seemed to work. But he wasn't the best in bed and although he tried he couldn't bottom. His profile is gone from their store now so maybe he has left the business or gone somewhere else. After the consecutive days I was worn out and took a break, with a couple of grindr meetups here and there. Mostly more catfish and other tourists. I was really in need of a massage so I tried out Backdoor Massage, location is a bit out of the way, but I found it ok. They give you a sheet to select the extra services you want (for a fee) and full service was not on the list so i just selected sucking, 2k for him to suck me, 2k for me to suck him. I just gave him a 10 on top of the massage fee and said let's just enjoy. My instincts turned out to be right with that move, the massage barely happened, I actually did want a massage but ok, straight to play. He tried to jump on without lube, no condom even considered, but quickly discovered he'd at least need to get some lube to make this happen. Expensive but a very good experience. My final night was the spectacular end for me, back to Chance after I gave up on trying to get reservations at DG. The guy I picked I really wish i had met earlier in my trip, he was 10/10 perfect. Ok English, really nice to talk to and the toned smooth body that I adored. He initially struggled with the size, but even after I said it's ok we can do something else, he was determined and it ended up being the best sex i had the whole trip! Then right after that appointment I had a date at a restaurant I had to get to, the first japanese guy with accurate photos, it was a miraculous day! I got him back to my room as well, but I've got to say my mind might still have been on the Chance guy while we had our fun. I really wish I had even one more night to get the Chance guy again, but such is life, maybe he'll still be around next time. Summary: All services I was able to communicate in English, no problems with booking but I would suggest making your reservation a few days early if you really want someone specific. A bit expensive with extras not included and still being the same base price as other full service places. There is an abundance of hot twinks but the language barrier is more difficult than other east asian countries. Unfortunately no sento or saunas this trip, but that's a future plan. That's one of the reasons i'm going, just want to see it for one time. I'm also hoping the current disputes with their neighbour keep tourism down a little, but fully prepared to deal with the peak pricing.

Yes, almost certainly. Not a priest haha, i'm sure there are probably a few of those around pattaya though. Maybe it's time to invest in some of these (or just stick to closed front gogo bars)

I try my very best to avoid the lenses pointing around some venues. It could end my career to be snapped in a 'for hire' establishment. Outside the bars i don't care, i can explain that away, but inside a bar watching gogo boys while sitting with my acquaintance of that night, a bit more of a predicament. It's not my place to set the rules, so if i see people filming crowds i either give a hint to the person behind the camera by putting my glass or hand in front of my face it or go somewhere else.

The dark room was the main reason I want to see CD, apparently it has some really fun theme nights leaning into it's BDSM concept too. I walked through Red House area a few times, but mostly early evening on my way to/from places and it hadn't picked up yet. I'm not sure I would have survived hot springs in the 35+ degree temperatures, if I had a longer time there I would have still suffered through it just to try it out. Soi13 is definitely a fun experience, I went there on my last trip and had a nice time, it had a pretty bustling crowd of mixed ages that time. I think it was my first ever Sauna experience, if i remember correctly. Taichung has a new sauna also that looks interesting too, it's called BodyFresh in Xitun district. It was another of my plans that unfortunately didn't come to fruition this trip. I hope to get back to Taiwan next year, I've got a busy schedule for the next 6 months, then Japan for their spring, so hopefully after that it will be time to get back to some Taiwanese action

A couple of brief updates from my recent visit. Grindr is still full of potential, met up with a cute guy in Ximending, he was eager for more just about every day after. I was messaging him at about 8am and he asked me to come to him, it was a bit of a struggle to navigate the alley to find where he was but he came down and got me from outside eventually. Language barrier was a bit of a problem and it started a bit awkward as he just laid on his bed scrolling his phone in clothes, so i took the initiative and got things going and it turned out great. Cute guys in their 20s seem to be pretty eager for tops in Taipei. I tried two of the massage places, Ximan Spa and Gay Spa. I liked this service the best, the shop was clean and some rooms are themed. Unfortunately the guy I got was pretty low effort, barely wanted to massage and wouldn't bottom. Next I booked Gay Spa, again communication in english was fine and they were easy to make a booking with. I went to the meeting point and guess who showed up, the same guy as yesterday. This store had private rooms in building and less of a store environment, but the bathroom in my room was a bit dirty and I didn't like the environment as much. Well I accidentally selected the same guy, his photos were different on each site (XimanSpa was more accurate), he was again not the best and still wouldn't bottom so I left the appointment early after some light fun and didn't bother with the massage. Price wise 120 min booking for Ximan was 2900NTD, Gay Spa 120 min booking was 2400NTD. I wish i had more time in Taipei to go back to Soi13, CommanderD, hot springs and try some more massage options, but plans didn't really work out. Taiwan reminded me that it has some incredibly hot guys around though, Ximending is so busy with tourists and I found other areas to be more enjoyable for restaurants and hot guy watching at Cafes.

I might be a minority opinion here but I personally don't like Agate anymore, thin walls and families staying there have made my last few stays less enjoyable. I do like Poseidon and East Suites, I'm yet to stay at The Venue or Zing. I'll second Classrooms and Copa for Boyztown. No issue at any of the above for guests. Classrooms has an entrance beside the bar where you bypass the bar and can go straight up to your room, the rest that i've stayed at will hold the guests ID.

Damn, Winner was my favourite in Pattaya. I wish Paul all the best, he is a good guy and cared for his staff and customers. On my last visit he did mention the owner(s) of Sunee raised rents and were making it unviable to continue while Winner was experiencing a lower high season.

They will bring it up, I wouldn't assume you're going to find any thai guys in pattaya just looking for hookups, it might happen but it's probably rare if they're attractive. Filters on photos is fairly common, but someone completely different showing up hasn't happened to me yet in Pattaya. It can happen the same as anywhere else though, just go with your gut. if something feels off then ask for a quick Line video call before they come or meet them outside the entrance of the hotel before you go inside.

he will probably appreciate that. Headphones on in a gym is a social cue you might have missed. I go to the gym frequently and the last thing I want is someone interrupting me to tell me what workout they think i should do. If it is a personal trainer correcting form to prevent injury that's one thing, but some old man telling me to do glutes because he thinks he saw a limp, well.. Go! Go! was rather polite of him.
