Didn't make sense to me, but if they get the airlines to check before you board to Thailand to see if you've done it, they might have to even if you are in transit đ¤ˇââď¸ reader 1 Quote

If you don't pass through immigration you can't show a barcode to immigration anyway. And TDAC website also states "Foreigners transiting or transferring in Thailand without going through immigration control" don't need to fill it in. There is a check box "Transit" or something like that in the form. If you click it, you don't need to fill in where you stay in Thailand. I would think this is for cases where you have to go through immigration to pick up your luggage and then continue with another flight. Or you could directly take a bus from the airport to Laos without staying in Thailand. Patanawet, floridarob and reader 2 1 Quote
floridarob Posted Tuesday at 04:42 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:42 PM Just saying what was in the comments...only time will tell. When I fly into some places that have been doing things like this already, airlines ensure you've filled out the form before you board, whereas other places you find out when you arrive that if you didn't , you have to at the last minute. reader 1 Quote

I read another article by the Thai Immigration people yesterday, that said in transit pax do not have to fill in the form. This is logical, but don't forget that the last UK government was proposing that transit pax at Heathrow had to apply for, and pay for, a similar document! Quietly dropped. floridarob 1 Quote
