I've never been to Tunisia, yet.... had quite a few in Florida when I lived there.... didn't know one that drank, alcohol. My Morocco experiences are similar, except they might nurse a glass of wine..... or smoke some hashish 🤷♂️ Indonesia, when I do find someone that says they'll drink, it's typically 1 beer or 2 and then they're drunk. khaolakguy Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Having worked for months at a time in both Morocco and Tunisia I would say that lots of middle class locals(mostly males) enjoy a drink on occasion, while the lower class(males principally) may not normally do so(cost?), but will if the opportunity arises, but may not hold their drink very well. Could selection bias be at play with your FL examples? If we took note of the English that landed in the colonies, we’d think the Brits were all highly religious prudes.
