alrajee Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Hello, all. (First post!) Does anybody have the intel on where I can search for chicos-for-pay at Ecuador's capital? Mileroticos does not have an Ecuadorian sub and there's only one profile on Rentmen. Is Skokka an option? Also, I'd like to enjoy a massage while there, preferably with a male therapist and includes a final feliz. Happy to get recommendations! Quote
Popular Post AMPM Posted June 23, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 23, 2025 I was in Quito in November 2024 during their power outages. I tried planning a trip in 2023 and similarly there was a nation wide shortage of electricity. and decided against it, but took the risk to go in 2024. It Seems that electrical outages are the norm now from October to January. I mention this because my experience may have been colored by those power outages, but I felt very unsafe in the country. I've traveled all over and have lived in large urban centers all over, and I have never felt so unsafe before in my life. The air had a feeling of foreboding that I can't quite describe and a sense of desperation. The power outages were rolling for 12 hours at a time for different zones, but as I was assured, the central zone in Quito north of Parque El Ejido and south of Av. Cristobal Colon is not affected by the power outages because as my hotel told me, it's a tourist zone and there is a hospital in the area. Also, the big hotels have generators. Grindr is a good place to meet. Lot's of guys looking for sugars, but honestly none of the guys passed the sniff test and I felt uneasy with the guys on Grindr. I could say the same for Skokka but most of the guys set off my bullshit detector. Plaza Foch is a place where you can pick up a scort, and I noticed some women (probably trans?) and some twinks lounging around with backpacks or makeup bags around the wrist (a tell tale sign they are scorts) but the whole area felt uneasy and unsafe. There is a sauna in this central area (easy to find on Google maps) but it closes early. My hotel told me to be careful after dark and to only use Uber. All this is to say that there are better places in LATAM to enjoy. FunFifties, joizy, ShivRoy and 2 others 5 Quote
alrajee Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Hello, everyone! I wanted to resurrect my own thread with a short trip report. I was in Quito for six days and had a fun time. Grindr - I got a lot of messages but unlike Colombia, I was less wary about meeting up. My hotel has a guest registration policy (they had to register and I needed to confirm that they are okay to leave), which weeded out those who weren't serious. None of the guys I was with had problems with this policy. Skokka - This was the only website of the three (Rent Men and Mileroticos being the other two) that had escorts in Ecuador, and even then, it was slim pickings. Nevertheless, I met two guys for paid fun at my hotel. Like my Grindr dates, they both had no issues registering although one protested mildly after we parted ways. One insisted on condoms (the one who protested) and the other was fine with bareback sex. He said PrEP and DoxyPep are available at no cost, so long as you do your labs. Massages - I only went to Men's Club Spa once. Excellent massage and the play component was also good. Safety - I stayed in the La Floresta neighborhood and I Ubered everywhere (average cost is $2.50, the trip to the airport was $17). Drivers recommended Ubers once it gets dark, even for short distances, although they agreed that La Carolina and La Floresta are safe. At the historic center, my tour guide noticed a man who followed us for a couple of blocks, who then left when he noticed that we glared at him. I have an iPhone and he said that it's a popular item with phone snatchers and muggers. Cost - Because the country uses the US Dollar, things felt cheap since there was no need to convert. Set lunches at diner-style restaurants and cafes cost on average $5. Restaurant dinners were $10–$20. A liter of water at a bodega is $1; 50 cents from a grocery. Local beers are $1.50. Things to do - Not a lot outside of the historic center. Most visitors stay only for a night or two and then head to the country's more popular destinations like Baños, Cotopaxi, the Galapagos, etc. I had time to spend so I didn't mind being there for almost a week before continuing on. bkkmfj2648 1 Quote
