Mavica Posted Sunday at 04:12 AM Posted Sunday at 04:12 AM When I first visited Rio 23-years ago (and in several succeeding visits), after some of the saunas with GPs closed a collection of GPs (who hadn’t scored at the sauna or who were looking for a place to crash for the night) would sit at Chopperia Corujinha, across the street from Serzedelo Correia Square in Copacabana, and we’d invite them to drink, have something light to eat after which (if we were successful) we each invited one back to the Hotel Atlantico Copacabana (popular with gay visitors at the time). It was a welcome game of cat and mouse. We were the mouse! In the morning, we’d invite our overnight guests to what was then a very good breakfast in the hotel then provide some walking around / taxi money and send them on their way … only to repeat the adventure the next night. During visits since I'd not thought about the Corujinha and never went back. Does any such / similar environment / location exist in Rio today? Heba as-sa3udeya 1 Quote
floridarob Posted Sunday at 06:56 AM Posted Sunday at 06:56 AM The apps/sites pretty much made the "after sauna" hunting for clients a thing of the past. I've been back since, no one from those days remain working there now, however 6 years ago 2 or 3 of the same waiters were there, I'd go by once a trip to eat, drink and show some old pictures to them and laugh about the old times.... I originally was going to say about 3 years ago, but when looking for the pics I took, found it was 6 years ago....wtf, where does the time go 🥺 Heba as-sa3udeya and Mavica 2 Quote

Members SolaceSoul Posted Monday at 07:09 AM Members Posted Monday at 07:09 AM The last time Corujinhas was on and popping was maybe 2011 or 2012. The trade would stroll on the outskirts of the park across from the restaurant and stroll on by the sidewalk. When I returned the following year or so, everything had completely changed. I went back a few more times hoping that maybe it was an anomaly, but like with Le Boy, it had become a thing of the past. All good things must come to an end. Mavica and floridarob 2 Quote
