I am curious about the La Cueva bar in Copacabana.

I searched here for "Cueva" and only found this one paragraph from one post from 2022:

In Copa to the south is LaCueva, R Miguel Lemos 51. I had fun last Saturday night. Rumor has it there are some younger guys who like older guys there.... The age range was 50+ to embalming fluid for most customers. There were a few guys perhaps 35-45 yrs old with their daddies. Not a pick up bar from my one night’s experience. I danced by myself to videos from the late 70s to 90s. Cover that night was 50R$ and included 2 drinks, not just crap beer. Fair price. Music was not too loud.

I'm sure this description will repel many of my pals here — but I want to check out La Cueva as a potential post-sauna stop on the way to my Copacabana hotel.

I have been there several times, with Brazilin friends. My impression was the club was very much a local spot with a local crowd . 

I’ve been here a few times as I usually stay in the Ibis up the road.

It’s a friendly bar and beforehand guys will be drinking beer at the bars outside.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen lots of hot young guys looking for daddy’s though! - think I’ve struck lucky once or twice.

Might be good place to meet young guy off Grindr to check him out.

Most of the guys I meet will not be after cash. I’ll usually pay for drinks and activities though if it’s clear I’m earning more money than the guy though.
