Cartagena is a great place to visit. Lots of places to visit in the day and night. 
The local beaches aren't too good - but there are plenty of day trips to better beaches you can book. Most involve a boat ride to them. Easy to arrange in town by taking recommendations from your host or visiting the port.
If travelling alone I wouldn't arrange an overnight stay at a beach resort as you'd likely miss the nightlife of Cartagena.
Pretty easy to meet locals in bars and grindr etc - and I found many Colombians liked older guys.

Let me tell you without question. The 1st Airbnb I got two years ago after the 1st week soon as they heard the apartment number. Just sent the boys up. Same with the second place. It was like I was ordering pizza and getting it hot delivered straight to the door. Especially after some had been there for the 3rd time.

Brazil's three states in the far south have the highest proportion of European ancestry.

Santa Catarina:  The "blondest" state has cities and towns in the "European Valley" (like Blumenau and Pomerode) that retain a strong German heritage where natural blond hair and light eyes are common compared to the rest of the country.  But no GP saunas in Blumenau, Joinville, or Balneário Camboriú. Coastal Florianópolis used to have a GP sauna (but I don't recall blonds) or know if a GP sauna operates now.

Paraná:  Also features high European ancestry, mostly descended from Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, and some German immigrants. Curitiba still has a couple of GP saunas. At one I met a handsome blond jock 20 years ago, but only Mediterraneans in the years since. 

Rio Grande do Sul: Contains the highest absolute number of European Brazilians (and hits about 80%) but despite the many German settlers (north of Porto Alegre) and some Russians, most others were Portuguese (esp from the Azores!) and Italian. Porto Alegre has had at least one (and years ago, for a while, as many as three active GP saunas). The best were Plataforma and then Mezzanino; and now Lux.  In the early 2000s Plataforma did have some GPs with light brown hair -- including one handsome German Jewish GP bottom from Gramado. Now GPs at Lux are mostly from the Mediterranean gene pool.  I like Porto Alegre and hanging out in the upscale Moinhos de Vento neighborhood a few blocks from Lux, but don't expect GP blonds.

When in São Paulo, I recommend you to visit the local Eagle. Cruisy, and very friendly diverse crowd.

Most of the guys I meet will not be after cash. I’ll usually pay for drinks and activities though if it’s clear I’m earning more money than the guy though.

Gabanna Club: Visited on a saturday night. The dancers go full nude, but no sex shows.  There were four strippers.  There is a dark room where you can invite the go-go dancers for some fun. They have their dance routines, so they don't have much time. You can invite them to your hotel / Airbnb or a love motel after closing time.  Overall a fun place with lots of eye candy. 
Roma Club Video Bar: Formerly known as Geminis. Its location has changed (it used to be near Avatar). The Google Maps location is correct.
Alfonso, the owner, is a great guy. If you don't see anyone you like, he can hook you up with some local guys. It's a very local spot, although tourists are welcome. Don't expect "models," but more like "guys next door." An affordable and fun place without the frills.

Okay, so a few options for strippers - with no promises. 
1. Gabanna Club has go-go dancers on Saturday nights. They move around the club to different locations and you can touch-tip depending where they are located. Obviously the area over the dance floor is not an option. Sunday night "interactivo" always includes a show where you can interact with the performers -- right up to sucking dick and eating ass. Some performers will have sex in the area behind the stage for the right price.
2. Avatar Bar can have strippers but the shows are earlier (11pm - midnight) to bring in the crowds earlier. Call ahead to confirm programming. 
3. Club Geminis Video Club also has strippers and boys onsite for weekend events. Check ahead for the programming. Be aware this club is located within the city center, outside the tourist area. You will need to be comfortable in your ability to function in Spanish or translate.

In Bogotá there is a brothel that has a similar setup (contact them to set a time to meet the boy(s) of your choice, sex on premises — Casa de los Boys
I am unaware of anyone functioning as a brothel in Cartagena at this time.

Hi.
Usually I holiday in South America or Europe. I love the saunas and men in Brazil. I like muscular and athletic men - love strippers.

Any suggestions where to visit in Africa to find gay or gfp black guys? I’d be visiting for at least a week or two so would want somewhere fairly safe to visit with things to do in day and night.

One thing I've learned traveling in a country like Brasil...nothing good happens after midnight, like Gremlins. Any issues I've had all happened after midnight.....If I find someone I like in the Sauna, I take them back to my room and we continue drinking there or go to dinner and back to my place. Since I've adopted that strategy, zero problems 😉

Only 1 sauna in SP worth going to with rent guys, Lagoa...I used to stay in Republica area but the Airbnb's have gottel too strict not allowing guests that aren't pre-registered.

I know Totally Oz stayed at the Intercontinental, which isn't cheap, but they treated his guys just the same as a guest. Heritage hotel seems not to say anything if you enter with someone as long as they don't look like a homeless person.

Splitting the trip would depend on where you're flying into/out of

SP has better restaurants as well....
