He was  posting here as williewillie when I joined in and I always held him in high esteem since he was member who first welcomed me to the forum and encouraged to keep posting. 

I met him several times when in Pattaya, he was always willing to crack latest news over coffee or beer.

He was also member of other forums under different nicks

Rest in peace Marc

Marc was a close friend and his death was a  shock to me. Marc had suffered for many months in the hospital with a sudden stroke leading to sepsis and heart failure but somehow recovered and was able to walk and visited Pattaya once again. However his heart was weakened which then lead to his sudden death.
