Went again tonight with 3 Farang friends not on this site..... $15usd for most plates, with 3 sides and amazing service and ambiance.....with drinks and 20% + tip my credit card bill was $30usd... was ALOT of food!

Pork Cordon Bleu, Mashed potatoes (kind of dry)added lots of butter,  tagliatelle pasta, spinach au gratin (85 baht extra for au gratin) .... 2 or 3 Coke Zeros, about 10 kg of ice...

we stayed for at least 3+ hrs chatting about old times here and life in general....and we're planning to go back Fri or Sat for their special tasting menu probably.

 

That plate is HUGE by the way, optics can be deceiving , not that I'm a plate size queen....

As for tipping I never tip unless the service is outstanding 

This is an American thing brought to Thailand by Americans unfortunately 

I remember a few years ago in Sydney,a American restaurant called Planet Hollywood opened 

Me & boyfriend went ,it was a Sunday night ,and yes the service was good but nothing outstanding 

On leaving the waiter said to me ,you can pay by card and if you want to leave a tip press this button 💳

I said to the waiter " your working for a American restaurant here in Australia on a Sunday getting DOUBLE time in wages so that's $80 an hour and you expect a tip !!!!!!

Fortunately that restaurant is closed and good riddance
