If you wee hoping for an authentic Cali night out, this is your best homo option.

Amanta Club is Grenada is the spot where the gays go to dance the night away in a a gay-positive space. You will see groups all gal dancing and switching partners MM  FF MF MFM you get the drift.

And dance they do, merengue, bachata, cumbia, champeta and of course salsa dancers pack the floor until 4am on weekends Thursday- Friday-Saturday and Sundays when the feriada falls on Monday

Who goes here? Mostly gay caleños looking to get in their salsa, but don’t be surprised to see young groups of 20-somethings (send then a bottle of shots for $10 will be very appreciated), entire familias celebrating birthdays, muscle boys, thinks,  lesbian studs, femmes and everything in between.  Very welcoming space to everyone.

The space is large but is designed like any other Cali salsa club. To keep the dancefloor open, there is seating set up either side of the dancefloor. You must request seating from your host, who will get you drinks and look after you for the night. Please típ your host — most rely on these tips as they are not paid hourly.

Drag shows happen on Fri and Sat late (after 1am) but they don’t realling interruptor the dancing which is the main event. Special events being interruptor other entertainment as well.

Went with a small group of 5 people, asked giren to invita some friends to make it more fun.
my salsa is not that great to try in a city like Cali,  but I did dance some bachata and merengue.

It was a super fun night out, and several “new friends” were made. It’s really social environment, tons of eye candy (the asses on these boys) and a more authentic Cali experience. Will be returning soon.
