UBER IN BANGKOK

Does Uber operate in Bangkok?  If so, has anyone ever used Uber to go from the main international airport to Pattaya?   If Uber is not at the airport, how easy and the cost of booking a car to go from the airport to Pattaya?   I am familiar with the bus but I think I will not use the bus on this visit.  Thanks.

I am not sure if Uber operates in Bangkok, but I know that Grab does. There is a pick up point outside the terminal where you wait for your ride if you booked a Grab or similar, so it should be pretty easy. Not sure what it costs to go to Pattaya from the airport.

LINE MAN RIDE and BOLT and GRAB are the three main taxi apps in Bangkok.   My local friends prefer LINE MAN RIDE.

Thanks for the suggestion for using Mike.  He is advertising a fee of 1,000.  Do you know if that fee includes all fees such as airport exit fees, toll fees, etc.?

Even without fees it will still be the cheapest ride while still maintaining a decent standard of travel. Go for it

A comparison where I used Mike Pattaya Taxi a few days ago from Bangkok Silom to Pattaya.  1,300 baht with all fees/tolls, driver right on time an a comfortable Toyota Camary.  Grab was over 2,000 baht for the same ride when I did a comparison while waiting to be picked up.

Ditto... I've been using them for so long, I forget how long.

I've only heard from @Olddaddy as having problems with them, but consider the source 😝
