Thanks for posting this information. It is indeed very sad. He was an absolute character and ran an excellent restaurant.  Most trips to Bangkok we always visited at least once going back over twenty years. The restaurant won't be the same without him.

An excellent restaurant in both locations. How very sad that the patron will no longer be there. Let us hope there is another staff member who can keep it operating at the same level even though it will never quite be the same.

Sorry to hear this. I think he has a son who runs the business. Well worth a visit.
