I'm thinking how this is going to look in one of those illustrated kids history books in 50 years time:

'In Jan' 2021 an insurrectionist mob attacked the Capitol building in an attempt to overthrow the government. By 2026 the government had pardoned them, and then  paid out huge amounts of compensation despite them never being exonerated of their crimes. We call this period the 'lunatic period' when the country lost its mind'.

Although I doubt, and am hoping Trumps latest distraction will ever come to fruition and be realized, on its surface it is nothing more than Trumps BRIBE to his public, civilian militia so they continue to support and commit illegal acts on his behalf, for which he is signaling them that he will PROTECT,and then REWARD them for their fealty and loyalty to HIM.....   Trump is giving them PERMISSION to act illegally and be VIOLENT, so he can continue to keep power and reign over his Dictatorship.   

And this,  as he continues to "pick pocket" all other Americans, and STUFF his own fat pants pockets.    

Its all predictable and very Trumpian.    And will CONTINUE as long as WE ALLOW him to get away with it.   With every offense we allow Trump,  without check or consequence, the beast grows bolder, stronger, more arrogant and destructive.   Trump is not to blame.....   WE ARE !

My friends and I make a point of never mentioning the orange buffoon, as we are sick and tired of seeing his face every day in the media, and reading about another utterly stupid decision.

But the bewilderment he causes us continues unabated.

Why aren't his supporters (like buckanaway here) not incensed that he's using taxpayers' money to reward thugs who beat up and killed police officers? And don't they realise that 1.7 billion dollars would pay for a lot of their health care?

Why don't they care that Trump is signalling to future insurrectionists that not only will he pardon them if they fight for him, he'll also take taxpayers' money and pay them?

In what other democratic country would this happen?

Because, they agree with and Support him....    That's where the problem lies.   They find him "tough" and entertaining, and everything and anything that harms LIBS is just fine with THEM,   eventhough THEIR lives continue to be affected and Shit as well....   Its all about anger and hatred, and Trump "feeds" that for them perfectly.   

And YES, he is BRIBING them for THEIR service to him,  and insuring, by offering mooney, that they will be there and do WHATEVER he tells them to, with their eye on a financial Prize.

I still haven't heard the logic behind Blanche saying that the "agreement" to shield The Incompetent-in-Chief and family and all of his "businesses" (AKA criminal enterprises) from the accountability every single one of us (well except the bots) is subject to.
