70 members of Congress were asked about attending - next week - and 49 of them said their plans weren't set.  One of them from Nebraska his son has a high school football game he wants to attend, on a Wednesday night?

My latest prediction - and it's not much of a prediction is that those tickets that cost $25,000 (not including hotel rooms) are going to be given away this week. Dumpapalooza is going to have a lot of empty seats.

Two weeks after the Dumpapalooza Mid-term Convention of the GOP The Great Incompetent's poll ratings continue to fall to record lows. Mission accomplished with the continually failing event planning. Was it worse than the 250th "State' Fair where States didn't participate, and very few people attended?

It's getting worse. "Red" State Republicans are also running away from The Great Incompetent. Governor Greg Abbott of Texas will not be attending The Great Incompetent's campaign rally in San Antonio - because he has "other already scheduled events." Already scheduled events? You aren't dropping a rubber chicken dinner to attend the President's rally.

The dream of every Democrat everywhere is to have The Great Incompetent campaigning far and wide across the nation. Lots of Incompetent visibility will drive Democrats and Independents and non-MAGA Republicans to vote.

The polling is amazing. It won't last, and it is probably not accurate.

But as of now, forget about Ohio and Iowa, which did elect Democratic Senators not too long ago. Forget about Texas, which has not elected a statewide Democrat in this century. Now we are talking polls in RCP today that show Osborn ahead in Nebraska and Hamilton ahead in Kansas.

I remember about now in 2020 there were polls saying Miss Graham might lose in South Carolina. And of course infamously I sung Lichtman's praises in 2024. So maybe I'll be wrong again.

But there is a difference. In 2018 and 2020 the red states stuck with Trump. They even picked up Senate seats in red states. That does not look like what is about to happen.
