In hind sight Biden should have pardoned more people to save us all from The Great Incompetent's inquisition of anyone who was "disloyal" to our current small-handed, feeble minded dictator.

It wasn't until the hung jury turned into the news story that I became interested in the trial. Knowing that an insanity-type defense is usually difficult to prove, I was initially surprised that the majority of jurors voted to acquit a defendant that had admitted to killing her children. But after a little checking, I learned that Massachusetts law in this type of case is different than in most states. Once a "lack of criminal responsibility" defense is presented, the prosecution must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was sane at the time of the crime. So, it no longer surprises me that the "poorly educated" MAGAts are so easily swayed to blame "libtard" jurors rather than educate themselves about the actual law the jurors were directed to follow.

Recent polling indicates less than 40% approve of Orange Daddy's handling of immigration, while 58% disapprove. If he had just deported only undocumented immigrants with criminal records, I doubt he would have lost much support, but he probably would have gained many more independents as well as Democrats that would more than make up for any support he lost.

Maybe Melania will make a public appearance if Orange Daddy pays her enough. She might even give a speech if Michelle Obama has written one for her.

This is a 16% increase from two years ago when Biden was president. Even 83% of Republicans polled believe in widespread corruption in 2026. Wasn't Orange Daddy going to drain the swamp?

I wonder how Melania copes with the fact that the son she raised, mostly single-handedly, idolizes the notorious misogynist, Andrew Tate? Being married to a pedo, and now this. I hope the money was worth it.

Donalds didn't even get 50% of the vote in the primary. It was a very contentious race. The property tax referendum is a MAJOR issue on the November ballot. It gets nonpartisan support, even though it leans Repugnican. The governor's race may come down to who  non-Donalds supporters hate more, Donalds or Democrats.

Republican registration has significantly outpaced that for Dems recently, and Florida voters will also be voting on a referendum to decrease property taxes in November, so voter turnout is expected to be much more than usual for a midterm. This should give Donalds an edge over Jolly. But we'll see how the general election campaigning goes. Donalds is running on affordability. How does he explain his support for donOLD's economic policies and his support for the war with Iran (he has sons that are letting others do the fighting; reminiscent of Barron T)?

How should Dems respond to the trans issue, specifically mtf in women's sports? I don't know why this is even a major issue. It's an issue to be addressed, but repugs have made it one of their main campaign issues, and the Dems not only let this happen but seem to have been caught flat-footed on it.

Cornyn and Tillis are not heroes.  The document that Blanche signed is worthless.  The agreement that was originally signed between Trump and Trump can only be modified if the signatures to the agreement (Trump and Trump) sign it.  Blanche's signature is worth nothing. 
I don't think Cornyn or Tillis have any elected political future, however, I think that both of them are likely protecting their future work as lobbyists.

Has donOLD stated how vandals were able to cut a 300 foot slit in the Reflecting Pool? The pool is 18" deep along the perimeter and 30" deep near the center. Did the vandals snorkel or scuba? Or, maybe they had box cutters on the soles or tips of their shoes. I can't imagine someone stooping down as they walked a distance of 300 feet through the pool cutting a slit with a handheld box cutter.

The Republican candidates running for office this year in south Florida are touting a campaign promise of making things more affordable, yet they also promote their support for donOLD and MAGA. They either refuse to answer or they offer a bigly word salad when asked how the tariffs they support are lowering the cost of living for their (potential) constituents.
