At long last I slept 8 hours and woke up at 11. Just as I was about to leave for breakfast, a thunderstorm broke out. I waited for almost an hour, using the time to write up another report.

The rain - the deluge - stopped, and I walked to Pancake Palace. Its street offered the quintessential bkk experience: wading ankle deep in water. It wasn't worth it. It's not a palace, and the food is just ok. Tomorrow - foodland.

walking Silom from say soi 4, you cross Thaniya Rd , after crossing pay attention to the signs and you will find it withing 100 meters, just raise your head
