October 10, 201312 yr The boys and I decided to venture out to Chinatown today. Most major cities around the world have an area like this but I love Chinatown in NYC and in San Francisco and the one in Bangkok is much smaller but a lot of fun. It only stretches for about 1-2 kilometers and is abuzz with lots of food being prepared, gold stores, and merchants selling their wares. We had lunch at a local Chinese place that was full and had many people inside. We got a wide variety of food to taste and we enjoyed it all.

I am sure many who do not visit GT would welcome seeing them...especially those considering travel to Bangkok, Thailand and other places of interest you visit...such as your recent trip to Cambodia. October 13, 201312 yr I liked the pics of the mushrooms and the picture of the golden statue. It has been about 12 years ago since I had been there. My Thai friend took me there. Can you guess why? I am sure you did!
October 14, 201312 yr re #6: to buy gold for your boyfriend? Michael, you happened to be there during vegetarian festival (about Oct 5-13). I wanted to go, but didn't make it.
