Mind you this STILL is not as bad as the WHO, which was not recommending any restrictions on international flights for ALL of January.    Had they recommended 14 day quarantine on all outbound flights from China, the rest of the world would probably be operating as normal now.

Yet, somehow, the WHO, which is supposed to specialize in health, is spared from criticism for fouling up an easy decision.   Now the same WHO people are recommending the whole world shuts down.   What they hell were they thinking about in January ?

Yet governments, who are generally not lead by health specialists are criticized, for much smaller errors.

That's because Tedros is in the pocket of the chinese govt.  He could not do enough to kiss President Xi's ass.

It is important to note that the concept of coyote dancers at Thai disco/clubs is different than go-go bars in Silom etc. The dancers are there to entertain on stage (and most will allow guests a quick grope for a drink/tip) and circle/mingle around and drink with guests at their tables afterwards. Often they will be offered drinks (and tips) at a table and they will drink, talk and be friendly (socialize) with the guests (and encourage them to drink more). If the chemistry is right and with a generous offer I certainly think some coyote dancers will go with you, but more diplomacy /a more discreet approach will be required. First establish a friendly connection/vibe and make the guy interested in you and then discreetly let him know your intentions and offer. I'm sure some dancers will decline (politely) as many are presumably straight or not up for paid sex, but some may be up for some add. easy money. Give it a try!

One additional note/a word of caution: as Fake and other similar venues are primarily for Thai guests the dancers may have very limited English language skills and there is a high chance that you will find yourself unable to communicate with them (unless you speak/understand thai).

    Thanks for the tip.
I like the challenge of wooing the guy... lol

  4. Has anyone had experience offing one of the dancers from Fake Club?
(Love the video below with the dancers sporting a stiffie...)

    How much would that cost?

How are they compared to the models @Moonlight?

No the options mentioned above do not check anything. Zing resort have swimming pool and you have second entrance through the street bypassing the reception so you won't have any problems to bring guests there.

I like the Zing hotel too. It caters to straight and gay travellers. Rather nice place. Nice pool also.
But I'd skip the breakfast. Nothing special and the service is quite terrible.  Just walk towards the beach and get a good Pie around the corner.

Thai-for-Thai clubs are great to visit if you bring local guys with you as a treat.  It's just that in my experience as an observer when I've gone to these sorts of places in BKK with my young friends, predatory sex pats are not particularly welcome.  By all means go with some young friends, bring ear plugs and enjoy (if you are so inclined).

Thanks for your reply.  Yeah I normally go with some local guys and open a bottle and just enjoy the atmosphere (disco dance shows or karaoke songs) and in the process get to check out the locals.  There is always at least a guy there that can translate for me.  Once you get to know the guys, it is easier to off them.

  7. Thank you for the replies. Yes, I posted on the other forum also but I figured I'd try my luck here.  I was hoping some local expat living in Chiangmai may see this post and respond. I looked at the Gay Chiangmai website but also didn't see any reference to Kingsway.

@DivineMadman: Do you speak or read/write thai?  I tried googling Kingsway but didn't find any results.  How did you find it?  I think your address is correct because in the middle right of the photo is the "KIngsway" logo.. (Thanks)
This place looks like it certainly caters to locals only. All the signage is in Thai only. And even their FB page doesnt list an address.  Looks like they are trying to stay under the radar.

I do know some guys from Adam's apple who work here. I know because I am connected to them via FB and this is where I saw the pics.  Unfortunately, they hardly speak or write any english.  But gosh, some of the guys there look HOT!!!

I do suspect it is like a male host karaoke, that caters to men and women. And some of the guys  may be off'able by gays.

Anyway, if not for this damn Coronavirus scare, I was planning on visiting Chiangmai this summer.  Still undecided if I will go. WIll wait a few months to see how things are.
