Plearnwan Hua Hin, a retro-themed community mall, has announced that Jan. 31 will be its last day open to visitors. “Due to the economic downfall and losses the company has suffered, we must close Plearnwan,” read a statement sent to shop vendors. “The closure will be effective from Jan. 31, and to thank everyone, we’ll waive the rental fee through January ….” Plearnwan Hua Hin, the name of which came from “Play and Learn in the old days (wun wan),” opened in 2009 on Phet Kasem Road in Hua Hin.
