Members BigK Posted April 20, 2009 Members Share Posted April 20, 2009 Is there anyone here watching this show. It started on Sunday night and now has the kiss of death time slot on Saturday nights. I'm afraid it's DOA. Intriguing concept, a ruling Monarchy (not just figurehead) at war borrowing heavily from David & Goliath. A gay prince (with an unfortunately week chin...although I wouldn't throw him out of bed), and a dashing outsider hero. I'd like to see more of it.\ Anyone else have an opinion? btw, if your interested, nbc.com has a pretty good online viewer to watch all 5 episodes. Members JKane Posted April 21, 2009 Members Share Posted April 21, 2009 I believe it was intended as more of a miniseries (or like a UK show) than a regular show, though if they put it on Saturdays it probably won't have any shot of a follow on series. I've only seen the first 3 or so. Kinda intriguing... the most interesting part to me is that in this Kings alternative reality there's some kind of 'god' who actually gives a shit.
